  Elihu was born and raised on a planet called Vesuveer in a communal elf society that considered themselves a clan by the name of Talisfar. Their ancestors lived for many centuries on this planet making it difficult for the clan to have a desire to leave. The once beautiful and life sustaining Vesuveer has morphed into a very dangerous planet; what is known as a "death planet". The animals are vicious and hard to tame, water is scarce, the plants have became carnivorous man-eating beasts. Even the atmosphere is contaminated by a thick toxin that is extremely fatal if inhaled. Thus in order to survive Talisfar built up a fortress of towers and buildings as a haven of non-polluted air and an abundance of food that is brought back from the militant hunters, Elihu being one amongst them. They work for the government who provides for all of the clan, acting in the name of the people. Although the society views their governing class as equals, there are many secrets that the hierarchy keeps behind closed doors such as better food or cleaner water. The governing class keeps all the best for themselves unknown amongst the people and they feign that everyone is equal to avoid struggles against those holding power.
  
  He was raised to be a warrior, his mother dying in childbirth and taking his twin sister with her and so he never knew about either of them. His father was a playboy, however, and had two sons before Elihu's birth. Those two were his half-brothers but they treated him no different than if he were a full-blood sibling. Despite the fact that their father was going to stay committed to Elihu's mother, the two brothers did no resent Elihu for their father's decisions. After the death of Elihu's mother though, he could not find interest in committing to another female. All three of the brothers were sent into the military ranks as hunters who each led their own command squad due to their excellent skills and leadership on the field. However, soon after Elihu had his own squad, disaster struck.
  
  They were all on a scouting mission to gather food, looking for a new area to get the most resources and the most safest route to get said resources. As they ventured deep within the jungles of Vesuveer, there was a threat lurking behind them. Besides the typical dangers of carnivorous plants, trees that threatened to crack bones with their animated branches, an animal prowled close by. When they came into a clearing the young elves' father was attacked by the beast known as a Wolyshika [See "Vesuveer" section for more details]. It tore the man limb from limb before they had a chance to react and it took about six of them to execute the creature. The brothers were in shock, and had their father's body taken to the holy Vinsulir, a plant specifically designated to consume the corpses of the dead. They sacrificed him as was protocol out on the field. Seeing the death of his father, Elihu never grew attached to others, not even his brothers. He expected death to come and take everything from him and so he threw away all ties of emotions with others and kept them sealed shut and locked away.
  
  The young elf hunter had never been one to follow an order or the rules and regulations of the military, having always had a rebellious streak in him since childhood. His defiant nature only increased with the death of his father. He was always taking risks to get the best resources despite what his commanding officers advised. One such event of disobedience had cost him his citizenship in Talisfar however.
  
  There had been a young elf that had stolen a cluster of filters from the governing class's stash for him and his family. The government ordered that he be made an example of by hanging execution, the stolen filters on his mask as he was left to hang and suffer. The hunter they left in charge of this deed had been Elihu who thought this was highly immoral. As the day came closer, he struggled within himself to think of a way to refuse and at the ceremony he cut the rope that had dangled the boy's squirming frame.
  
  This was viewed as an act of treason and so Elihu was sentenced to exile from Talisfar. He was forced to live in Vesuveer on his own and cast out from the haven city. He managed to build up a home for himself however, but has been extremely anti-social and uncaring for anyone ever since.
  
  Because he had become an exile and was no longer seen as a person of value to society the planet of Gerissol decided to take him from his home. He was abducted from his home planet of Vesuveer and taken into a facility that performs experiments on those of other races for both war purposes and for various treatments or cures for parasites or illnesses of their race. The Moshku people had taken Elihu for the specific purpose of finding a cure for the parasites that had been causing many moshkes to die from a disease similar to tuberculosis but in the end it caused the host to split in half as the parasite destroyed them from the inside.
  
  Here he met Valic Farriswarth and that's when his life had changed.
