  Dr. Viktor Carson is an old friend of Dave Bennett (AKA Host), both attended the same university on the east coast of the U.S.. While Dave pursued athletic endeavors Viktor chose to "tackle" a more scientific area of higher learning. Being roommates was a blast for these two, in fact it was Viktor that finally convinced Dave to take his academic more seriously and made him the accounting genius he is.
  
  Viktor has several PhDs; from astrophysics to biology, medicine to engineering, law to teaching, physics and chemistry, computer science, psychiatry, psychology and sociology, even hospitality and culinary arts. Viktor prides himself on being a master of trades.
  
  Viktor was surprised to find out that his friend was alive after hearing of his alleged death, but after talking with Dave and learning about his circumstances did Viktor offer to help. He set Dave up with a nice affordable loft in the southern part of Asheboro, he got him a job at a local gym and even offered to help him should he get into any more trouble; especially if it was for something that occured while being 'the Host'.
  
  Viktor works for the Olive & North corporation, Asheboro's most prominent and influential company who make almost everything for the city, Viktor being the head of R&D department. Viktor has almost unrestricted access to anything and everything he helps make, but he also has enough time for a few side projects with the utmost privacy from his employers as long as he completes his assignments and does not become a security risk to the company.
