    What a long and breathy title. You may call me Azoulas, or Zou, if I like you well enough. The general stereotype of dragons is that we live in caves, guard gold, and like to eat fair maidens…and while that may be true for a few very famous dragons, if that is what makes a dragon a dragon, I must be something else. But that's always been me, miscellaneous. I am middle-aged for a dragon, but I will likely survive many more millennia. I am tall and lean, built for the sky or the forest, and my scale color allows me to disappear into my wooded home. I lead a wandering life, but I tend to stay in forests most of the time. It's where I feel most natural. I sometimes fall asleep accidentally and wake up covered in dirt and grass and trees, which can be very irksome. It also means that most humans I meet or befriend take up only a tiny fraction of my life span, like a sputtering candle burning down too quickly while my own life drags on across the centuries like a low-burning coal left in a fireplace…ah, there I go again. I am such a sentimental old fool. In any case, glad to meet you. ❦
