  History
  
  Born into a tribe as a slave-child. His family was the tribe’s scapegoat and they never let him forget it. They raped and killed his mother and tortured his father until he bled out. Shojah witnessed both events when he was 8. As he grew older, the punishments got worse for his failures. Lashes, beatings, brandings, castration, torture. It was a living hell. Then the Legion came. The tribe would not assimilate and were thusly massacred. During the chaos, a 15 year old Shojah managed to escape into the wastes and was near-death from starvation and dehydration in the desert when he was captured by raiders. They saw the violence in him and taught him to fight with melee and unarmed weapons. The NCR eventually came after them and once again Shojah managed to escape. It was then that Shojah came to the strip and managed to get in with The Chairmen - impressing them with his physique and endurance. Over the years his rank and powress has only grown since. He believes the Legion is his savior and owes them a debt, so he reports to them about going-ons in the strip, The Tops specifically, in exchange for a “promised” spot in the Strip as a high-ranking official once Hoover Dam is taken. He does not join the legion because of his addiction to his own vices, but for the past few years, has considered giving it up to join them.
