Aiden ta Aesin

Aiden could be described with one word if no other. She was beautiful. Whether all dressed up or neck deep in motor oil she could always bring that word to mind, and it made sense, she was Fae after all.

The first thing most people see is her fiery mane. She leaves it as a wild mess or in a ponytail, but rarely does it take on a look that one would call neat. Her face is heart shaped with plush lips and amber eyes that glowed like coals in dim light. Her body is athletic with noticeable hips and a modest chest.

Her clothes tend toward gothic these days. Black pants, black shirts and hoodies and black gloves. Sometimes her pants or shirt have a bit more color but never as bright and colorful or as nice as they used to be. Their clean at least. The nicest garment Aiden owns is her leather biker jacket. She almost always has it with her. It has a feminine, asymmetrical cut with plenty of real pockets. Even if the rest of her is a mess, her jacket is always in pristine condition.

Alfenheim:
Aiden hides less of what she is when she's not on earth. Her eyes have catlike pupils and her irises glow with an inner shifting light like coals in a fire with a metallic green sheen. Her ears are slightly tapered like an elf and her canines are somewhat more prominent. She moves with the grace of a dancer, hinting at some of her supernatural strengths.

Beyond the Veil

For those that can see spirits, or magic it is very clear to them that Aiden is not flesh and blood. It's clear to these people that her body is only a shell, a way for her spirit to interact with the physical planes. If one were to draw her spirit form and her physical form, they would find they looked almost identical, but the impact of seeing Aiden's true self is on a different scale.

Not a simple image, but a dream, a collection of ideas and power. Looking on Aiden's true form is like looking at the grand canyon, or the sunrise. She is beautiful like a wildfire, not like a mortal woman. Color, texture, and details about her form all pop with a teeth grinding intensity only comparable to a hallucinogenic experience. This is cut only by the relaxing presence she exudes, like the first rays of sun in summer.

It's not simply a visual experience though. Her voice is like warm honey and sunshine. Her touch is like taking a hot shower after a bitterly cold day, like petting a puppy and biting into a cookie fresh out of the oven, all at the same time. Aiden's voice is a multitonal, otherworldly, ethereal sound that could put an angelic choir to shame.

True sight will also reveal a grievous spiritual wound in Aiden's lower stomach. It's as if someone scooped out a portion of her spirit and the wound refuses to properly close. Something is missing, something profoundly important, but Aiden can't remember what exactly that is... Not all of it at least.

Aiden is eccentric, flirtatious, and mischievous when in a good mood. She's usually those things when in a bad mood too, better to hide the pain accrued from the lifespan of an immortal.
