• Description

  Alabastor stands at six feet tall and has an athletic build from his hard life as a pirate. He's usually dressed in leather boots, cloth or leather pants (most of the time black or dark brown), as well as dress-shirts and tunics of various colors. Over his shirts he's been known to wear a leather vest and shoulder pad that serve as armor along with a leather or cloth belt that he keeps his weapons securely tucked into.
  
  Alabastor's personality is exactly what you would expect from a young pirate, rash and reckless but also adventurous and brave. He tends to get into allot of fights and is somewhat disliked by women, but deep down he's a good guy. It's not uncommon to see him standing up for the weak and even going out of his way to help those who need it.
  
  Over his many years as a pirate Alabastor was trained in various styles of swordsmanship, stealth, and fighting. It is believed that he and the crew actually made port in Asia for a few years when he was younger and he learned a bit of martial arts from pirates there.
  
  Though young, Alabastor has been captain of the Dev Aveza long enough to understand the qualities of a leader and what it take to become one. His crew is like his family, and an invitation to join is not easily granted.

• Biography

  Orphaned by the Royal Navy and raised by pirates, Alabastor Ross didn't exactly get to have the cushioned childhood that most boys his age did. At the age of 5 Alabastor's father Derrick and his mother Victoria were killed by the Royal Navy for refusing to pay the over-priced toll for keeping a ship docked in the harbor. Upon the death of his parents, young Alabastor's home was soon taken by the king as payment for their debt and the boy was put to work. At the age of 8 he was forced to work in a warehouse on the harbor when a gang of pirates led by the notorious captain Shade attacked and plundered the warehouse for its goods. Seeing it as a chance to escape, Alabastor had managed to sneak on to the ship and stowaway until the crew was at sea. When he was discovered the captain congratulated him on his stealth and offered for him to become a part of his crew.
  At the age of 17 Alabastor, or "Kidd" as Shade called him, was a fully skilled pirate and Shade's first mate while the pirate crew became his new family. They lived happily and even made quite the reputation for themselves but his dream of sailing the high seas and living a pirate's life did not last long. One evening the crew had been docked in a city harbor for the night while they restocked the ship and made repairs, everyone sleeping on board accept Kidd who had been lured away by some gypsy women who promised rum and a good time. The next morning he returned to find his crew dead and the ship burned. To this day Alabastor still wonders who had killed his new family and why, but his suspicions pointed to the Royal Navy.
