~ They range anywhere from child-sized to young adult form similar to humans.

~ Typically fair-dark complexions.
Hair Colour Range
Common – Soft cream colours, white, grey, and yellow.
Uncommon – Red, black and most unnatural colors such as pink, purple, blue, ect.
Eye Colour Range
Common – Blue, Green, Gray, Brown, Cream, Hazel, Amber, Orange, and Gold/Yellow.
Uncommon – Black, Purple, Pink, and Red.

Racial Language
Vilneiks language seems to be a mixture of gypsy and Slavic tongues. There are some different dialects in the nomadic tribes but there is a common language in the city.

Standard Religion/Deities
The Religion of Almathea (Adopted from the people of Yenublekhet which is their neighboring human society)
The people in Yenublekhet revere the sun goddess, Almathea, who represents peaceful serenity and oneness with nature. She is a force of healing, good fortune and prophecy. Her worshipers love her, and respect her, and ask for her protection from disease and bad fortune.
As the bringer of light, she is seen as important to the growth of crops, finding many practitioners in the northern fertile provinces of Yenublekhet. They willing offer up bounty to her as a sign of reverence at the gifts she has given them and most of the people throughout the kingdom feel likewise.
The clergy of Almathea is part of the political structure of Yenublekhet, acting as bureaucrats that aid in all levels of government. Not a deal is brokered with out the presence of a priest of Almathea, and it would be a ill omen to try to do so without one. They tend to the charity of the citizens and aid in the recovery of the ill. They wear white and yellow robes, often with soft hues and shades from other colors present, and a yellow disk around their necks.
Physical Appearance
The Viltneik people, like humans, come in a variety of body types and features. Their most defining attributes are the long, large and triangular shaped ears that represent that of a Fennec fox and their signature long twin tails that both have half an eye etched into the fur. Each has it's own distinct "evil eye" (Whether it be a tattoo or their own eye) which allows them to see the desire of others.
Racial Abilities
Sense of Smell: Natural Ability, at-will: Strong sense of smell, can detect 'signature' scents off of other species as well as their own.
Sharp Hearing: Natural Ability, at-will: They can hear very well and from long distances. This ability doubles as a weakness as it can hinder them if a sound is too loud.
Emotional Manipulation: Natural Ability, at-will: They basically enhance the desires of their victims; thirsty travelers may find a well, exhausted ones may find comfort or a haven. The more a person is driven towards death, the more stronger the Hayal is to them in which they have complete control over the person's fate; some choosing to drag travelers towards their doom, some being of great help instead.
Various Forms: Viltneiks can disguise as humans, which requires them to hide their ears and tails in the process. The evil eye then transfers to another part of their body (it differs from Viltneik to Viltneik) and continues to serve as a third eye that only opens when it "sees" a desire worth consuming. Disguising as humans takes up a handful of desire energy and makes them more vulnerable because of their limitations, but nonetheless easier to blend in. They also have a Fennec fox form and their twin tails differentiate them from the normal ones.
Racial Weaknesses
Ravenous Hunger: A hunger for the desires of people. They only feast on desires of others heightened by their hallucination powers. Only Viltneiks are able to see the scent of desire; it's cotton candy textured and their source of survival. The hunger is intense and painful if not carefully regulated and can cause the Viltneik to go insane. Similar to the hunger of vampires for blood.
Limited Transformation: Children are typically born with less self-control, therefore they tend to transform into their fox form easier from emotional trigger alone, but it takes a while to reappear back to normal. They can't disguise themselves as humans in this stage. The young adults on the other hand, have more control over their transformation regardless of either form.

Racial Society
Viltneik society is close-knit but socialize with other races. They live in large city but there are many small nomadic tribes but their society functions as one massive unit. Children are raised to fend for themselves with little adult interferences which is why many grow up to be thieves and crime is rather high in the Viltneik society. Crime is socially accepted but frowned upon when it affects the Viltneik populace. Other races are considered fair game. Because of this, other races do not typically like the Viltneiks but they do not care.
For the Viltneiks they believe that it is survival of the fittest. In a desert environment water is the key to life.

Other facts
Lifespan
They don't age the same way humans do though. Their growth depends on the desire they manage to feast on off of others. Needless to say that they are beings that can live for eternity, but the longer they go on without using their powers or consuming desire, the quicker they cease to exist even to other Viltneiks. It's a cycle of survival where limbo awaits in the end.
Attire
They dress in Arabian / Middle Eastern styled garb. Some adore looking attractive just so that it's easier to see someone's desires when a person is more off-guarded; often times wearing gold, jewels and other form of accessories.
