• OoC is not IC

  • The information on this profile should be straight forward and should not be taken as your character knowing all about my character. Exceptions include the obvious visual and gossip things such as height, outward appearance, rumour-mill, etc.
  • Just keep this in mind and we'll get along fine but the moment you began 'cleverly' having certain precious knowledge or things that exploit weaknesses, I'll warn you once OOCly. Another occurrence after that and I will just walk away and declare our scene as null.

  
  

  NPCs:

  Don't go thinking I've lost me marbles if I start bringing in characters that aren't psychically in the active scene (I.E.; not having an alt character logged on). I do this as a means of 'Scene Filling' and to help keep a scene from droning about and promote nicely paced scene progression (which even leads to character dev!). Considering how old Father Mars is and the fact he likely will bore you to death with politics, religion, tales, or literature, it's generally best this way (in my personal experience and haven't had a single complaint yet once the weirdness factor subsides.) So calm your tits!
  
  

  Clairvoyants:

  Let's face it, they are out there and Father Mars is one too (though, he isn't the greatest at it). While I don't mind if you 'mind read' my character I, however, am respectful and will ask permission to perform such actions OoCly before just assuming it is okay. And to be clear, this doesn't fall under the metagaming category.
  Example; there can be some weaknesses I have listed about Father Mars but Father Mars himself doesn't even know he's weak against. In layman's, you can't learn from a mind that doesn't already know.
  
  

  Insta-Hitters:

  While I'm not terribly strict with insta-hits, it does and will become rather bothersome eventually; principally when in the thick of a very good RP. In short, please try to refrain from using this rather annoying style of play.
  Insta-hit only really applies to plots where both or more participants know each of the other character's story and how it is supposed to turn out. However, this has no place with those with stories you know nothing about.
  
  

  One-liners:

  If you've not enough respect to post more than one fully structured sentence then I am likely to just walk away with no explanation to you. I'm rude for doing so, you say? Sounds like a song of the coffee calling the kettle black.
  
  

  Death:

  Unless you have serious plot ties to Father Mars, don't assume I'll let you kill him off so easily. I am attached to him, yes, but again unless you have some serious background with him, don't get your hopes up. I have 'Oh Shit' abilities in place just for this issue that will guarantee he walks away with his life.
  As for others (you) with disposable characters, I will still yield to OoC permission to end the life of another/your character.
