She was one of the best science officers that ever lived, other than that Vulcan Spock. I want to be as good as she was. I want to make her proud. Taking a deep breath, I pulled my bag onto the ship that would take me into what I feared. Oblivion. Vast, silencing emptiness. The end. I was so terrified of it, but space was beautiful. Peaceful.
