• Biography

  Formally a prestigious veteran of the now obscure Rainbow Warriors Adeptus Astartes chapter, Kragoth Doros' life of honourable war turned upside down after the complete devastation of the Scarus Sector during the dreaded Blood Star campaign, which had taken place in the year 748.M41. Not only were Rainbow Warrior casualties disastrously high against the Daemonic invasion, the Inquisition had the remainder of the now-crippled chapter excommunicated, claiming the Rainbow Warriors to be tainted by the ruinous powers of Chaos and believing them to be an irredeemable liability to Imperium of Man. The questionable practices of the Relictors, a chapter that had fought alongside the Warriors only enhanced the Inquisition's bogus fabrication.
  
  Shocked and appalled by this sudden turn of events, the former veteran reluctantly chose to follow a new life of disgrace, abandoning his duty to the Imperium. Doros chose to leave the Segmentum Obscurus, traveling as far as he possibly could from Imperial space. All of this took place whilst the rest of his Chapter was mercilessly purged and their records as a Space Marine chapter destroyed. Doros' present life is now ruled by self-loathing, believing the blood of his brothers to be on his own hands. Hope is a powerful fantasy however, for Doros chooses to continue on with the optimistic ideal that one day, he will finally be able to redeem himself and restore his chapter's former glory; no matter the sacrifice.
  
  Doros traveled the galaxy for many years, paranoid of contact with Imperial forces (not to mention it's dreaded enemies), until he had by chance came across the lost feudal world of Triandr. There he wandered the land of Eokaroe, where he was shunned as a 'forgotten angel.' Doros secluded himself from the world, amongst the smaller islands, appearing only when he needed food and water, which was extremely rare. A period of darkness and self-pity was placed upon Doros, which lasted many months. In this era of galactic turmoil however, no peace, either good or bad is destined to last.
  
  The disgraced Astartes was released from his period of drama when a small band of chaos cultists came to Triandr in order exploit and terrorize the island population in the name of the Gods. Enraged at the sight of chaos followers, (as well as looking for any opportunity to redeem himself), Doros slew the cultists with his chainblade. The utter shock of facing against a space marine had completely demoralized the Daemon worshiping scum. Doros was heralded by the natives as a hero. A paladin sent from Heaven by the Great Father (The Emperor), who would liberate them from the clutches of Caritaigne and Sipang: the warring nations of Triandr. This had given Doros new found hope in himself, he now knew that all was not lost, but there was now something else that had dawned on Doros' mind: If these cultists had found this lost world, then it was no doubt that even greater foes, eager to know why the preparation of a chaos shrine has been stagnant, would come to purge the backward population of Triandr.
  
  Now Doros finds himself in the same position he had been placed in many years ago. He must redeem himself as a saint amongst the forgotten, defender of Triandr, or die alone in disgrace and obscurity, as the rest of his chapter had...
