Some laws dictate his ability to move such as, the presence of shadows, intense light, or possibly some form of magical barrier. His need for shadow as a medium is not the only factor, but it is a very important one. He is prone to bouts of madness, laughing fits, and tom foolery sometimes to the point of almost being cute, but his intentions are almost always sinister and malevolent. Nocte is pure predator, quick, efficient, and as deadly as they come.
