    A man bereft of his usual battle regalia, now only sporting loose linens reminiscent of a peasant and worn leather boots. Skin nearly the hue of driven snow was pervaded by glowing blue runes, magical lines etched into the flesh in constant flux. Jet black hair was bound in a concise ponytail, his strong jaw clean shaven. Two intricate broadswords lie on either hip, embossed with similar runes and bearing pommels of a smiling woman and a child with wild hair respectively. A leather bandoleer slung over his left shoulder housed three small, straight throwing knives, terminating at a thrusting dagger at his left shoulder blade. His belt and torso were rife with various containers, flasks, and vials; some were almost cumbersome, others imperceptibly small. Undulating azure eyes were tarnished by the dark and sunken sockets of a man estranged from sleep or sobriety.
