  • Personality: Cold, calculating, businesslike and manipulative. But not without a sense of (dry) humor. Has limited social skill. Uninterested in picking fights unless for a good reason.

  • Boons: Sheer physical strength, capability of flight, melee combat, striking poses and making opinionated comments. In physical form, can bite/punch/rip/claw through solid stone and metals. And... he can sing.
  • Flaws: Low in agility/dexterity, has issues with ranged situations, slower at an overall run/flight, blood does not coagulate (more below), too heavy to fly in sharp turns, has overpowering hungers of all kinds and therefore experiences loss of self control in extreme situations. Weak against Holy magic / sanctified trinkets.

  The ability to draw energy to his own usage.

  Rhakator, also known as Axuru, has the ability to astrally project himself, using energy to make himself known. Essentially, this means he can have his conscienceness to step outside of his body and travel. Though he has the ability to appear mostly invisible, I will never use this ability to spy without the knowledge or consent of fellow roleplayers. Having spent so long in this form, he has learned how to gather large amounts of energy. Regularly, he feeds off of ambient energy... which is to say, radial energy. If there is a fire exuding heat, he can draw from it. He can pull from the heat or energy of a falling raindrop, and then from the energy expelled from that raindrop's impact. He can pull from breath, wind, and vibrations from footsteps or earthquakes. His strongest fount of drawn energy comes from spells. He can capture spells that leave the body of the caster, or feed off of the aura given off by them.

  
  
  

  Limitations and Rules to Energy Drawing.

  Only if he is in a very strong form can he try to rip energy directly out of a body, however, as it provides a shield against him. An attack takes an exceedingly huge amount of strength, and he can only do it once; if he fails, he becomes weakened and cannot try again. He can attempt to possess either a part of a body, or all of it, though he has much better luck with inanimate objects. This obviously requires player consent. He attempts to avoid attacking someone, however, and spends his energy in much more conservative methods. He can, after all, become overloaded, of which disperses all energy at once and leaves him tremendously weakened.

  
  
  

  Capabilities of the form, the exchange of energy.

  It takes him a lot of energy to speak, for not only does he have to re-shape the energy into a different quality, he has to fool the mind into thinking they are hearing something. It is actually much easier for him to manipulate an object, or make a gesture. It takes concentration to organize the energy he pulls in, of which turns into a dark shadow, into a shape. He can imitate nearly any sound, imitate any figure (though all of it appears as a silhouette, nothing but a black outline), and even generate false scents. These are not abilities he retains when he is in his own body. In a magical sense, this is the absolute extent of his capabilities, and he must be astrally projected in order to do so. His vessel will be as though in a daze or asleep when he leaves it.

  
  
  

  Energy loss, banishment, siphoning.

  Magic CAN be siphoned out of him in this state, which can prevent him ever attacking. If he loses too much energy, he becomes as invisible. In this state, he is so far lacking in energy that he cannot even perceive what is going on in the material realm. The most he can 'see' are vague flashes of shapes. As sound is energy that he must interpret to understand, this is all he can really use to lead him elsewhere, though most spoken words in this state, he has issues deciphering. It is his most feared state of being, as it feels like limbo, or nonbeing, to him. It takes him some time to come back out of this 'banished' level.

  
  
  

  Very high energy levels and its problems for Rhakator.

  In high levels of empowerment, he can even develop a surface. It feels completely textureless and flat, therefore he highly resembles glass. He can only manage this when he is without a lack of need, and is strongly powered from within. In this level, he can manipulate the surrounding world, though he is weaker than in his regular form. He can carry people, move larger things, open or close them. However, unless maintained, this existence is short-lived. An even higher state was recently discovered; by filling him almost to the brink, beyond what he can manage, this surface starts to buzz and flicker like static. If an electrical current had a surface, and did not shock, that is how the surface would feel; constantly vibrating, occasionally breaking. This state is more of a problem to him than beneficial, as it's hard for Rhakator to keep a hold on that much energy. The breakage and static is him losing a grip on the currents, and desperately attempting to keep it all together.

  If Rhakator has a high level of magic, he can temporarily draw someone into his core being and cart them around as he so wished. However, this is not a forced capture sort of thing. Anyone can step out if they needed to, all it takes is them to will it. To enter his core is essentially to enter his soul, and exist within the cloud of magic and not be seen. It is like, as he explains it; floating in silent water, hearing nothing but his voice, seeing nothing but a dark red light, feeling nothing but cold air, and smelling nothing. It voids the senses for a while, making someone feel very near to being astrally projected, themselves. He can only carry living creatures this way, no material objects. If he brings someone in, and they use a radiating magical object while travelling within the accumulated magic and energy he has gathered around him, they can keep him powered for longer. This essentially makes him a vehicle, however short-lived.

  
  
  

  In-character rules to Rhakator's code of conduct as an astral projection.

  There are rules in which he must abide when in this form, however. He cannot enter a room unless permission is given by someone, or else he is banished out. He must have someone's name before he can really see them clearly: If he has someone's name, and is given permission, he can hang out in the corner of their mind and speak in a manner that uses little to no energy, instead feeding off of life force that is ejected from the body and by no means is harmful (Something near to a symbiotic relationship). Even if he becomes powerful in energy level, the only rule he can break is that of possession: If strong enough, he can try to force himself in. Keyword: Try. This can be resisted, shoved away, or non-consented. No matter how powerful or angry he gets: If he is denied entry to a building or mind, he cannot reach it.

  
  
  

  Appearance.

  His appearance remains the same throughout any of the forms, however. He cannot make himself appear in any other colors other than black. He constantly appears as a silhouette and nothing more, only ever the outermost edge depicting shape, and constantly warping as the 'body' shifts itself. Most of the time, he does not appear fully corporeal, instead with limbs fading off into smoky hazes. Head and shoulders are always the first to appear, surrounded by a mass of drifting 'smoke' that looks either wispy or like weightless scraps of tattered, frayed cloth. The latter seems to reflect the tattered wings, as these remain full of holes whenever the silhouette of the wings are visible. Body language depicts that of a gargoyle, despite how at times he can appear demonic (His head will shift into a more bestial form, as though the humanoid head is just a mask. This head has six eyes, six rows of banana-shaped teeth seemingly too large for the jaw, and lacks a tongue).

  Appearance.

  Dark-skinned, Rhakator's physical body has a coloration to match a drow's. The surface is rough and like heavy leather, the membrane of his wings as coarse as canvas. The membrane folds and pleats, instead of stretching like rubber, its stretch-ability considerably less so than a creature with more batlike appendages. Claws and teeth are more blunt than sharp, pick-like and designed for breaking through rock. Muscle is solid and abundant, creating a very burly form, and therefore sacrificing dexterity for bulk. With more muscle comes more knotting, so oftentimes Rhakator is constantly moving in the hopes to prevent muscle seizing painfully up. Bearing long digitigrade legs, someone of five feet in height would find them eye-level to his pelvis. He does retain the energy to shapeshift his head. It seems to split away at the chin, and crack into that square, saurian, and almost demonic face, for added jaw pressure. He can feed off of stone for the solid minerals, though that does not mean a more usual palette isn't available to him; simply provides what stone will not.

  
  
  

  Healing methods, stone-form, why he is capable of devouring solid rock.

  In this form, blood does not congeal for him. His species of gargoyle revolves around stoneform. As stone part of his diet, it is used to heal the body... he is capable of bleeding out and dying if he has not eaten enough. If he reaches too low in blood level, the body automatically converts itself to stone to begin the healing process, not always something he can predict. If he has eaten a lot of stone, sometimes the wound will just 'scab over' in bits of stone. However, this is problematic, as in order to have that much stone at the ready, he is too weighted down to fly. It is the mark of his particular species that the blood never coagulated due to a lack of necessity. Poisons and illnesses rarely effect him for much longer beyond the healing point, unless it is a special kind that can exist even when blood has turned into rock.

  
  
  

  Strength of the body and it's negative side, favored weapons and armor.

  Excelling in physical strength, he finds himself lacking in agility and dexterity. If powered up, he can run or fly at a high speed, though in order to match someone of a slimmer build, he has to pitch into a dive. On the ground, a slimmer, leaner build will be able to outrun him. Likewise, he is not as quick as someone smaller and more slender, though his strikes cause considerable damage. The more powerful attacks will actually come with a prep before the blow, indicating something is about to get broken, whether it's a bone or something in the way, if the attacked moves out of the way in time. He has chosen his favored weapon as a warhammer, rather than choosing something smaller to make up for his lack of speed. He knows his strength, and applies it as well as he can. Banded armor his is favorite attire, thinly placed and pointed in curved V shapes at every soldered apex as an attempt to deflect blows. However, this is limited considering that the wings only allow for a mantle over the chest, and leggings attach only due to a small cut added to the membranes so that a belt can thread around his waist. (Actual attire is currently undecided.)

  
  
  

  Corruption of the Fiendish Gargoyle

  In the raging, sin-filled days immediately following his resurrection, Rhakator ended up devouring several devils whole that had been issued to contain him away from the world. Their corruption started to bleed into his body over time, and continued relationship with another devil only deepened the effect. A constant shell of cold surrounds his body, drifts over shoulders and back in a frosty crust, and occasionally ripples up in dark spears and thorns of ice over his body. These spikes slowly but constantly shift over his form, a spiky armor, and his skin has darkened and hardened over time. Scale has started to appear over his form, claws and teeth becoming sharper, tail becoming thicker and more spiked. He is no longer an uncorrupted creature of nature, but has since slowly fallen to sin, body forever altered to it. He can command this hellish ice to a degree, create single-use weapons from it, block a blow or two aimed at his form, and frost over his nearby environment... but it is not very strong just yet. A few hundred years more are required for it to become truly formidable.
