  Despayr is the result of a traumatic experience in Marc's youth. The best way to describe this 'other' or alter ego that he possesses is to compare it to the likes of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde; as well as hints and flavors of Bruce Banner and the Hulk. His transformation from Marc into Despayr is typically quite painful and usually against his well under the result of extreme emotional duress, stress, or pain. Typically any event or catalyst that could cause to distract his mind and break his concentration, in turn making him lose his hold on the beast inside will likely trigger a transformation. When his occurs, he typically grows in size and sheds the human skin of his normal persona, tearing free from it in a molting or shedding fashion. Despayr is much more violent, angry, and ruthless.
