Appearance

Build: Tall and lanky. Broad shoulders and decent amount of muscle keep him from being scrawny or gaunt, though his scarecrowesque appearance is only exaggerated by gangly limbs.

Eye color: "Inverted". The whites of his eyes, his sclera, are a deep black in color and the irises a washed out grey-white. Pupils often drift between a predatory slit and a widened oval, standard black in color.

Skin: A morose lavender pallor.

Fur: Very fine and thin, more like fuzz in most places than fur. Thicker on ears, tail, and center of chest.

Markings: Often kept hidden from view and the public, the doctor actually bares several scars gathered during his past; chest, shoulders, arms, midsection, all dotted with healed-over slashes, stitches, holes, or combination of either.

Distinguishing marks/features: Doc sports a pair of ribbed, pointed bat ears that tend to poke from the wild tresses of premature grey. Also, those teeth. They've been reported as appearing like an ivory bear trap or angular zipper of fangs, making him look like some horrible genetic experiment crossing a bat and a shark.

Hair: Silver-grey, wild, and jagged. Perfect "Mad Scientist" hair, giving the impression most times he'd just rolled out of bed.

Voice: At times it can be smooth and dark like coffee-colored suede, methodical and polite, and just as quickly rise into a falsetto of deranged glee or gravelly growl of malefic amusement, giving the outright impression of speaking to one as mentally stable as a table with a short leg.

Personality:In two words: delightfully mad. The paramount of "mad genius", he's completely unpredictable, though not without his own twisted form of logic and order (even if he does view things as turned on their side from the ceiling). He sees many if not all things with a literal sense of scientific objectivity and from an analytic standpoint. That isn't to say he is a cold calculating machine, but that anything and everything can be the subject of study.
Of course, lacking any known sense of "sanity", is both his biggest strength and weakness. Though it gives him mental flexibility and the eccentricity to view a problem from several perspectives and find even the most unconventional of solutions, it also leaves him emotionally distrusting and self-isolating in situations (either due to past experience or self-induced paranoia.
Most subjects and situations, however, are faced with a wry grin and comical disregard for the grave and severe, choosing to cackle like a madman in the face of danger and even ridicule any threat. This could be a defense mechanism to hide his own uncertainty....or he could just be completely bonkers. Either way, he gives the impression of a true "mad" scientist.
