  A kiwi bird gifted to her by her father, it bears a pink ribbon 'round neck from which hangs a carved wooden heart with the name 'Luna' burned into it in fancy lettering. It follows her just about everywhere and Saliah is rarely seen without it.
  
  Thoroughbred kiwi with egg-white feathers, a tangerine plume of tail feathers and pink beak. This fine specimen goes by the name of Dahni and is mostly only seen with Saliah when traveling short distances or when out for a ride.
