The children of the Sinclaire family tend to favor darker shades in both hair and eyes. Rowe defies the odds by being the one exception.

Rowe believes that all people are naturally good. The world is very black and white to her, and she views it from behind an ignorant child's eyes. Though she has been told time and again that the world around her is not exactly how she sees it, the young woman is determined not to listen to reason. She has her own vision of what life is and could be. Anyone who says otherwise gets nothing less than a smile and hopeful words. Her brother feels it leaves her unprepared for life if ever she was to fend for herself. -
