Helter Skelter

Name: Helter Skelter, a standing metaphor for his purpose in life; a chaos from which order can bloom.


Pseudonyms: On occasions when the name "Helter Skelter" is just too damn badass to fit in, Skel has been known to use a number of pseudonyms in his travels, amongst them James Alphonse Russels and Hank Dannon. These are useful for warding off suspicion and, when he has to, forging documents, although if Skel ever finds himself doing actual fucking paperwork on any of his adventures, it usually just leads him to question the absence of gunfire and wonder what the hell his life's coming to.


Gender: Penis.


Species: Skel is a Driver, a catch-all term for any of the entities bearing one of the constructs known as an "Engine." Like most Drivers, Skel switches off between two quantum-entangled bodies, a flesh-polymer "Synthnoid" and a living-machine "Mechanoid."


Age: Skel's actual age is more or less unknown due to all the relativity bullshit involved with his dimension-jumping, but his physical appearance keeps him looking somewhere in his mid-twenties. Suffice it to say, being a Driver, he's seen plenty of shit for his time.


Height: 5' 10''


Weight: 220 lbs; heavier than he might appear, due to the light, but dense materials his body's constructed out of.


Physique: Skel doesn't look very imposing, being reedy as hell with a few traces of muscle about his arms and torso, but his body can probably take a hell of a lot more punishment than yours, and he can literally hit like a train, which makes him useful to have around during your average bar fight, soccer riot or children's birthday party.


Skin Tone: Cold-ass honky. Of course, when not sheathed in several layers of synthetic flesh-polymer, his real appearance is that of a thickly armored carapace of living biometal, similar in appearance to crude iron, with heavy rivets holding it together along its seams. Which is arguably more badass than being a cold-ass honky, but only by a little bit.


Hair: A flat, monochrome black, rather messy and wind-tossed. In reality it's made up of biometal microfibers, but nobody's likely to notice unless they put a strand of it under a microscope. And really, who's going to be enough of a creep to do that? I mean, besides everyone here, but let's not split hairs. Or pluck them. HA.


Eyes: In Synthnoid form, they're a deep, gunmetal grey, but in Mechanoid form, they're a bright, reddish orange, the color of burning cordite. The eyes are, like the rest of Skel's body, living-mechanical constructs, and offer a great capacity for independent zoom, perfect for sniping, or otherwise putting a few hot ones in a motherfucker's dome. Besides giving him 1337 QU1CK5C0PEZ, the eyes also typically produce a handy-dandy HUD that incorporates environmental data directly to his see-holes.


Clothing Style: Skel usually tends to dress like a fancy motherfucker, partly because looking like a dapper professional pleases him, and mostly because, in the majority of situations a Driver tends to find themselves in throughout the whole of interdimensional space, a guy in a suit will almost never, EVER, look out of place. His typical outfit consists of a white shirt(occasionally with a burgundy waistcoat), a high-collared, belted peacoat, a long, slim black tie, black pants, and a pair of black, calf-high riding boots.

The clothing is made out of thin, lightweight wiring of the same biometal as Skel's body, interwoven with his crystalloid neural circuitry so that it can conduct the various metaphysical forces that he makes use of instead of, you know. Catching on fire or exploding or something. This also gives them more or less the same resistances as the armored carapace that makes up his Mechanoid exterior, meaning if he ever does get set on fire or exploded, he won't end up naked. Having to fight with your junk out is just annoying. Of course, if Skel does happen to end up in in that weird-ass 2% of situations where a guy in a tastefully-understated suit manages to somehow stand out, like landing himself in a colony of hippies or the Middle Ages or some shit, he can simply use his Vizor to shift his clothing into something a little more appropriate.


Personality: Although Skel CAN be tactful when he wants to, he usually doesn't. Really, really doesn't.


Likes: EXPLOSIONS, automatic weaponry, random hissatsu moves, cheesy action movies, tokusatsu, motorcycles, mecha, aggressive women, booze, and the endless call of adventure.


Dislikes: Those jackasses who think GUNZ AR BABBY WEPUN and always, ALWAYS, use some dumb shit like a katana or a scythe or some such EDGY fucking thing that, in reality, is highly impractical and would probably snap in half if it sustained anything so much as a particularly fierce glare.


Sexuality: I'd say "no sausages wanted here," but that would just make me hungry.


Relationship Status: Why hello there, LADIES.


Friendships: Although his manner of getting shit done mostly just gets people mad at him, Skel enjoys the company of a small band of like-minded badasses, trying to keep some manner of order in the multiverse while still enjoying themselves besides. Said group mostly consists of people who tried to kill him in the past and walked away more impressed than angry that it didn't go as well as they'd planned.

Skel's belt buckle, which is a large, rectangular, technological-looking device that looks more like a crotch-mounted PDA than something that keeps people from witnessing your junk in all its might and splendor, pulls double duty, both serving to keep his pants around his waist and also acting as his D-Vizor; an all-purpose device used by many Drivers to serve several key uses. Skel makes use of his as a solid-state bio-harddrive for his various subsystems, Driver Arms, and Driver Techs...as well as serving as his nifty transformation device, and storage for his Cosmo Artifacts.

In order to henshin using the D-Vizor, Skel first triggers the black Climax Edge button on its right side, which opens a slot on its rim. He then materializes his Metal Badge authentication card, and, by sliding it in, activates the multicolored array of Contact Leads on the left side, which discharges a shaped-hardlight Gun Silhouette into his hand. By pulling the trigger on the Silhouette and speaking the command 'Driver On', the belt is then activated, and opens the panels in its center to expose its Drive Core, which releases a surge of tachyonic energy to quantum-shift Skel into his Mechanoid body.
