Deft hands. As quick with cards and dice as they are with a quill, or on the keys of a typewriter.

Flaws
A tendency to run at the mouth. The Affable Scrivener has been known to babble, albeit not incautiously.
A violent aversion to stained souls, which can cause him anything from extreme nausea to outright illness.
A sensitivity to light. The Affable Scrivener cannot properly see in bright light.
Implements
A quality typewriter, given to him as a gift by the sister of an earlier employer. It never jams or sticks, though its ink is of a somewhat unsettling smell and colour.
An assortment of quills, wood-handled wax-seals, bottles of ink, sheaves of parchment and other sundries a scrivener ought not to do without.
A Spirifer's tools. An assortment of bottles stoppered with wax, with melted copper and with stone. A strange, attenuated brass fork. Kept in a dusty redwood box.
Prisoner's Honey. He doesn't seem to partake, himself. Why does he have so much?
