  Kayu (kā-yoo) is the quintessential catgirl— curious, playful, & moody. She has no known history such as lineage or specific origin, and when asked about the matter will most likely dodge the question. She has few friends or acquaintances and tends to wander from place to place. Kayu essentially survives via foraging, handouts, or goods exchanged for small favors (like errands). She is small in stature, reaching only about 5 feet and is light in weight. Kayu has little amassed in muscle, and in most situations is comically weak. She is proportionate and curvy, but not particularly chubby or thin. She also is clean (save for the bottoms of her feet), kind, and a bit clever. Kayu is a passive person, and will not raise arms past friendly rough-housing.
