  ♆ Face: Oval but with a sharp jawline and cheekbones, slightly hollowed cheeks. Defined cupids bow lips, with a pleasant pout and fullness in her bottom lip without being overly thick. Small-set nose that still bears the sharper angle of her heritage. Medium-thickness eyebrows, a shade or two darker than her hair.
  
  ♆ Eyes: She has vibrant green eyes that seem to change with the weather, their hue falling anywhere between a brilliant emerald when it's sunny, to a dusky sage during storms. Sometimes they present with amber yellow near the center. It's generally trouble for everyone involved if her irises turn completely gold.
  
  ♆ Hair: Her hair sports various hues of blonde, with shades of cornsilk as low-lights and platinum for highlights. It falls just above her shoulder blades and often smells of saltwater with a corresponding bit of wave if left un-brushed.
  
  ♆ Skin/ Markings/ Scars: Pale skin (e.g. eerily so, nearly porcelain white), flecked with golden scales that almost look like freckles at a distance. These scales are abundant on her cheeks, though there is a noticeable increase of them at her shoulders, neck, wrists, ankles, cusp of her waist, and her outer hips moving down into her flanks. She presents with unusually cold touch, and if questioned further, she'll admit to being cold-blooded.
  
  ♆Makeup: Her features are usually absent of such amenities, though she sometimes put on a dusting of pearl powder and lip stain with more formal events. She sometimes experiments with kohl liner, but it's extremely rare to see it on her. For the most part, the girl is clueless about makeup.
  
  ♆Frame/Body: Although quite slender, she has a bit more padding around the waist and hips. She has a small bust and enough muscle to give her definition when she moves. Her modern day measurements would fall somewhere around 34 B- 28- 36 (body type reference: x and x).

  Appearance: Extremely pale skin, bordering translucent, tinged blue from the proliferation of veins, as her body is highly vascularized. Amber yellow eyes, though the protective milky film that covers them when she comes above water makes them appear as if they glow in some lights. Gills pierce the skin at the side of her neck, as well at the sides of her ribcage. A large caudal fin takes the place of her legs. Retractable talons take place of her fingernails, and sharpened, carnivorously designed teeth take place of her human ones. An inky crown of hair finishes of her ominous display, falling to her hips before reattaching, appearing to look strangely like kelp or floating seaweed when in the water.   Length: Spans about 10-11 feet from head to the end of her fin.
  
  Weight: With the amount of sinew she puts on, along with the additional weight of her tail, she is around 270-300 pounds of corded, deadly muscle.
  
  Personality: Varies highly on whether she has fed or not, and whether or not you look like prey. If she hasn't fed, she is highly, though not overtly, predatory. She will use every ability she has to her advantage: her voice, her song, her looks, her wit. Coy, seductive, and overall very manipulative once she has settled on a target. If she has fed, she may be more relaxed, cunning and witty, perhaps a bit vindictive and cruel while the moon is still high. If she recognizes who you are while she is a beast, you may be spared, but in all cases you should be ready for a completely different animal than Baukis normally is.
  
  
  Abilities: A great amount of physical strength and swimming ability. Her singing voice and normal voice carry a subtle hypnotic effect. This effect, however, can be noticed and avoided by those with particularly alert and attentive minds, as well as strong constitutions. It seems to be more powerful on the inebriated and aloof. Her fangs carry a small amount of paralytic, but she only produces enough during a month for one kill. The quills on her still carry the same potent poison, though she is less apt to use them as they will spoil her kill. Can reform legs for about five minutes each full moon, although it's very painful, and rarely used.
  
  Explanation: The Apothecary's (see 'Biography' for more info) altered the virus so that they would attack and breed in her blood cells, thereby keeping the virus permanently within her system. As a result, usually by the end of each month the muse's blood cells are destroyed, and defunct, and in order to keep herself alive, as well as the virus, the muse must feed- preferably from another being whose blood resembles her own. As a result, Bau mostly goes after humanoid creatures in her predatory state, but if desperate enough, she will go after anthropomorphic individuals and beasts. If she does not feed well during a full moon, she will become progressively more ill during the next month. This will result in a highly ravenous state during her next moon, which makes her irrationally violent, and increases the chances that she will kill more than one person. If she loses blood by injury or illness, the consequences for the next moon are very much the same. If she does not feed well for consecutive moons, she will wither and eventually die.
  
  Attitude about the Beast: Bau has an extremely high amount of guilt associated with her curse when in her normal mind. It sometimes throws her into deep bouts of depression, and she purposefully doesn't tell many people about her condition because of the extensive amount of shame she associates with it. She endeavors to leave the island, and her loved ones during the times close to her transformation, as she does not want them to become subject to her appetite.
