  Malum has an extremely rebellious and negative nature but then she really doesn't think or do some of her actions for evil. She is revengeful, dangerous, doesn't know how to rein in her temper when she is seriously pissed off. She tends to be extremely possessive and jealous; and jealousy more often than not disturbs her relationships and affects her peace of mind. She is also very secretive, resentful towards people who think they're doing it 'right' when it's not. During her early years, she quickly became the big bully in her school, and didn't like showing weakness to anyone, even to her own siblings. She is the only one in her family who really got to spend time with their father, and she saw more than what little girls should be seeing when they're young. Her father had shown her something of his 'job', and she couldn't quite forget it, which led her to being very violent and suicidal (but she doesn't cut or anything. Standing near a cliff and feigning falling down does it!).
  
  Mal used to be an activist in her division, and in many rebellions and wars of the Civil world. She fought for justice and peace because she had to adapt to the maddening changes that the world made. She's famous -- and at the same time, part infamous -- for her aggression and the way she fights. All the years she spent in the wars made her act like this (being the youngest AND female soldier ever to join), and it's really not her fault. She had to grow up with the flow, being the eldest in her family and having a drunkard for a father and a dead mother, which is always hard for someone. She carries a truckload of equipment and a camo truck (which she had placed in Military HQ and not at home) where she places all her gizmo's and gadgets. Her M249 and a pair of Bart SMG-24's is what she brought home with her.
  
  Even though with this 'bad' side of hers, she treasures her family above else, and fears for them because she is this way. She most especially loves her baby sister, Vesania, and whenever she got deployed home, she wouldn't sleep at all when she is taking care of her, and everyone else. Her most precious memory of them is when she went out to adopt a pet dog for her family, naming him 'Jorah', a doberman shepherd, for Ves' fourth birthday. Even helping with baking a cake with Deas, while Maicah and Vandee prepared the decor.
  
  Whenever she gets called back, along with her brothers, she promises them that they'll be back in no time, entrusting her own monthly share to Deas and Ves, for both their upkeeping. In her barracks, she sometimes suffers insomnia and panic attacks, which is why their base agreed that she sleeps alongside her brothers, which lessened the attacks.
  
  Maicah and Vandee worked in another division, apart from Mal, so she is constantly worrying about them as she worries about Deas and Ves. She had taken it to her head if that she doesn't make it home, her brothers should. All she thinks about is Family because it's what she clings to, and saves her from going insane, and because it's what she has left.

    Ugh.
    
    It's one of those days again.
    
    My eyes are stinging from the dust that we kick up every time we rush into the sands to defend. The war's brewing, and it seems like that I am another pawn to play in this large, twisted game. A pawn that has to wait for its player's hand to move. Today, there were some rebels who tried to flank the F40 gate, 10 deg. eastward. They were carrying the big guns again.
    
    I am fine. Just a little bit banged up, but good. This war, to me, seems all like a petty cat-and-mouse game. Except that we don't know what we are. Are we the cats, ready to chase the bloody vermin out of our lives? Or are we the mice, defending what we could because that's what we all have left?
    
    I am caught up in the middle of everything. It is impossible not to think pessimistically when your life seems to be bait for the sharks.
    
    Neither can I sleep. This insomnia is driving me insane. I want to go home, to be truthful. I want to see my sisters' smiles and my brothers' smiles. Unfortunately, Maicah and Vandee are in another division. They couldn't stay with me as their positions are a tad lower than mine. Otherwise, our position is good. The more we are spread out, the more we can protect. As much as I want to run back and protect my family, I ask myself: Who will protect the front lines then? Who? Who? Who? Who will defend the front lines to protect what those lines are holding up? Of course, it would be me.
    
    I love my family.
    
    I don't like this war. Neither does anyone, and yet, here we are. In the front lines.
