Shards, becoming a Master
The Prince would forever hold a special place in his heart for the pink haired and pink eyed Arkaina. She was not only the very first of her species he had encountered, but also the very first slave he had ever rented. It was quite the interesting experience from what he remembers, as he simply did not treat her like a slave. He treated her more akin to an equal, enjoying the massage he had received from her, and they even had shared an intimate evening together. He had learned a bit about her and her people from her, even learning the real name of her. Danica. This would be the only true Arkaine name he would know as it was not common for others to learn them.
After what seemed to be a long break in time for seeing her, He would eventually be reunited with the gemhound after the end of the Fairy Migration. He had asked her what had happened to her, and it seemed that she too, like Dust had become a male. She had avoided him because she feared he would not want to see her like that, and that she had felt uncomfortable in her own skin. He was glad that she was okay though for he had feared something else had happened to her. He had rented her once more, as they shared a lovely meal and conversation by the pool of his suite. They had shared a moment of closeness together that was truly innocent and pure. One of the favorite things he had for this woman, was her smile. It always warmed his heart when he saw it.
However, things would not remain happy, nor peaceful. For after a short disappearance again, he had learned that she was in the underhall, to be kept safe from herself and others. He went to go visit her and all he could see was her in complete and utter distress. She was crying and screaming mentally with her Telepathic Abilities, even using her Psychokinesis to hurl things at the Prince. She claimed that she was bleeding from all of these cuts and wounds, but yet all he saw were patches of fur removed from her. His heart had sank as she pleaded to him that she did not want to die, before passing out.
Next thing the Prince of Morghel knew was, the guards of the Tether were approaching to take her for who knows what. In that moment he made a decision. He wasnt going to leave her like this. He couldnt. He had told the guards that they were going no where near her, and they he himself would claim Responsibility of her. For the first time in his life, he was officially charged with the responsibility of another life. While not indifferent to this since he was charged with the care of an entire realm, he was now her Master. He had her brought up to his room in the condition she was in and simply let her sleep in his bed. When she came to, it took her a minute to realize where she was, and even did not believe that the Prince was the Prince. Had had to use her real name for her to believe him. After a little bit, she had revealed to him what had exactly happened. The Torture. The forced healing of her self. The torturing of her mind. When he had asked who did it, she had simply revealed a name that she was asked to call the person. Arvedui did not get mad quite often, as the wolf instincts within his mind that urged him to anger were kept in constant check due to his raising. However, he had decided that for this person, should he ever meet them, that they would meet justice and he would exact retribution for the Arkaina. She was responsible for so much, even if it was indirect. She was responsible for him getting an interest to meet others like her. In this fashion he had met Dust, whom he now Loves. In this fashion he had met his new friend and ally, Broamo, whom he would fight side by side with.
Perhaps one day, when she is back to herself, or willing he would let her be with her people once again. Until that time, he was glad that he was able to protect his companion.
