  Empathy:
  
  Inbound: She has the ability to unwillingly and constantly feel the emotions of those around her. This gets stronger with touch, and should the emotion be especially strong or focused, she could become consumed by it. She can be easy to manipulate this way, but it also allows her to understand someone on some basic levels.
  
  Outbound: She has the ability to unwillingly project emotions she feels away from her, possibly effecting those around her. This gets stronger with touch. She does not necessarily expel her own natural emotions, though - for instance, if someone is feeling especially sad, she will feel sad, and thus she will likely radiate sadness. It cycles throughout the room and can often pick up in intensity, which can end up pretty bad. Even with pleasant emotions.
  
  Being Consumed: When this happens, she shuts down, instead behaving (almost literally) as a conduit for the emotion that was so strong that she slipped into what can only be described as an awake-unconsciousness. This only happens when she is touched and the emotions are too strong. Those with a good control over their emotions may be able to fight through the effects themselves, as the degree of the emotion she's feeling will be expelled toward the other person(s). This is especially handy if she needs to calm down and the other(s) involved have a decent control over their own emotions.
