  • Early years of life
    Dawning on him from his birth till now, Chiga has always been close to his twin brother Kai. The two were near inseparable all throughout their childhood, however their father disproved of how close the brothers were. Having separated the twins at a young age he trained them both in different arts, Chiga's with the Nodachi made of 'stardust' and Kai in the bow. The twins were always glued at the hip due to their bond, they read each others minds and Chiga took care of Kai as much as he was able to due to Kai's building illness.

    Chiga had been mentally broken by his father by age 8 and was no longer a child, but a killing machine. Chiga had his first taste of war by age 10 and was already in shape to becoming a young war general.

    Though a faithful night he had sneaked away to see his brother in a separate part of the village, the two wandered out to the forest in which the two spent the night out under the stars - Kai trying to bring Chiga's child back out -- however destroyed it may of been. The morning after before they left a guardian of the forest came through, known as the king of the forest. A great beast of mythic proportions attacked the twins, causing the scars along Chiga's torso as he protected his brother fiercely. It was at this point that Chiga's inner strength came forward and decapitated the king with his sword, the young swordsman had a terrible problem with going berserk during fights and destroying his enemies.
    Later on in life
    Years passed as the two grew up in completely different areas of the village, the boys at this point were nearing their 100 year marker. Chiga having become a skilled war general and leader of the head group for his father, and Kai having become an expert bowman. It had come time to dawn the demon's mark and having chosen the eldest Shikao wanted to make sure that Kai took on the mark, it was this time that Chiga knew that he couldn't allow his brother to take on something so demonic and evil. Contacting a young girl whom he'd had a previous fling with that cared deeply for him, Chiga asked if she could somehow seal his brother away to avoid harm. The night before the dawning, Chiga went to his father and spoke of how he could not find Kai anywhere in the village - it was like he ran away. Shikao cursed his eldest sons name, knowing little of what Chiga had done to dishonor the family name.

    Each passing day his brother was no where to be seen, the world had turned cold and with war. Chiga had ignored the deal with his father and went to the battlefield, having been in war many times Chiga thought little of it. His life was already done and cursed thanks to his fathers greed, having to seal his own brother away to keep him from harm Chiga felt no remorse for what he'd done. Chiga's feelings were becoming clearly numb and he'd lost the ability to care for another being. No compassion for anything could be felt a year after.
    Possession of life
    During his 200 year birthday Chiga's two tails had formed a day prior and his father now nearing 1000 years of his life, the man was too weak to contribute to his kingdom anymore. Waking up one morning Chiga went out to train with his Nodachi at that point. His heart was dead set on taking over the Takei Clan and he wanted it badly, but knowing of his fathers intentions to force Shinigami into Chiga's body - the boy had no choice but to face this like a man and take on what he prevented his brother from having.. Such a power could only be controlled by those who had the ability to wield such a devastating force and Chiga didn't want his brother to bare that burden no matter what the cost was..

    That faithful morning Shikao came out to talk to Chiga, however the demon had other intentions. Drawing his weapon at his father he hissed heavily "I'm ready!" He yelled to his father - ready for the morning training session by the great general. Shikao drew his blade towards Chiga as a reaction "Son you had better be ready I will not go easy on you." Chiga's eyes widened as he heard the words his father spoke, his focus built as the fire around him burned brightly. At this moment Shinigami's sinister grin could be felt across his body, Chiga grew terrified but had to stand his ground. Chiga's body trembled but without hesitation his father rushed at him, weapon readied. Chiga and Shikao's blades clashed causing a blast of sound that could be heard from the den to the village.

    The hours passed, on into the night as Chiga's energy still flourished brightly but his fathers diminished. Chiga's ears flicked forwards as he heard out the demonic whispers of Shinigami, the instructions simple "Free me, and I will help you succeed." A tempting offer, though he shook his head and refused. Shinigami grew furious and emit himself from his father's weak body, burning brightly Shinigami now controlled his father and came to fight Chiga now. He held out his soul or to Chiga's face and the boy caught it before looking towards the demon "Crush the orb boy. It's the only way to free me." He laughed manically and drew his blade coming strong at Chiga now, breaking his force and crushing Chiga to the ground. The orb still in his hand, his fathers life was now in his hands literally. However it was no longer his father.

    Drawing his weapon's hilt Chiga stepped silently and brought down the tip of the hilt onto the orb, shattering it to pieces. His fathers last breath drew and he looked to Chiga "Do it.." The boy had tears streaming from his face, regardless of the spite that he held for his father he still loved him. No it was now or never. Chiga swung his blade against his fathers neck, cauterizing the wound with fire from his soul. Moments turned into hours, Shinigami had begun his transference into Chiga's body.
    Years of Possession
    The new tattoo forming heavily and thick on his back prevented him from doing much of anything, his mother looked onto him as a murderer and his family had demoted him to a commoner. If only his mother knew what had really happened. Chiga was banished for most of his unnatural life, taking the demon as far away from the village and his brother as he possibly could. Given a weeks worth of water and food he sighed and started out on his own.

    Growing up and aging nearly 500 years before knowing what anything sort of humanity truly was he'd met a young kitsune nearly 200 years old by the name of Senna. Who held his heart for years before he left to go home, having missed his family greatly he refused to be away any longer after reuniting with his brother.

    Explaining the whole situation to his grandmother Shinju and his mother Corine they allowed him back into the clan, Chiga proved himself to his mother before she passed on now Chiga is ruling the clan with prowess.

    Later in his years Chiga managed to come across someone in a dream, her life being tormented by a demon of pride and lust. Keeping the woman company in her dreams until he was able to rescue her. The years of time it spent just to find her current body and the demons lair took most of the energy he had, however after finding the woman it wasn't long before he realized that he was in love with her. Surprised and to his astonishment she was in love with him too. The pair currently reside in the Takei Den together and are bound and married with twins on the way.
