    Things your Character Isn't Likely to Know:
    • Ethelwyn is gifted with air based magic. She can manipulate the density of the air such as fog, mist, etcetera. She can manipulate breezes and conjure up whirlwinds. It is not a talent she uses often or openly so it isn't likely that your character would know about it.
    • Ethelwyn is passable at the use of knives. This is mainly to protect herself and most of her techniques are geared towards sneak attack or outright defense. Because Ethel is particularly good at surrounding herself with individuals that will either protect her or consider her to be meddlesome but harmless, this is also a skill that is not widely known.
    • Ethelwyn was actually hired by Ryu to act as a discrete guard of sorts for himself and his little family unit. She is aided by magic detecting artifacts and her own wiles in this endeavor. The most that your character would know unless the truth is revealed ICly is that she is a maid and personal attendant for Ryu Genhasyri.
    • Ethelwyn has been a whore for much of her life previous to being hired by Ryu Genhasyri, working at the brothel like her mother before her. Your character would know this if they are a former client of hers or a frequent patron of the brothel. Others might suspect if they live in the slums and saw her frequently entering the establishment.
    • Ethelwyn is, in fact, the Shadow Rogue. Over the past several years she has been manipulating and playing the previous Rogue and his officers against one another until she could make a play for power and install a puppet on the Rogue throne. Very few people know this. Borozvoi is one of the few people (even within the Rogue's Court) that is aware of the true order of things. To The Court, Ethel is known as The Magpie and opinions of her vary from her simply being "The Rogue's" consort and decoration, others are aware that she's actually quite clever. PLease ask before you have your character be privy to this information as it is very well guarded.
