• Appearance

  Canus Ara is a huge and heavily-muscled man. His face is gaunt, with sharp cheekbones and a heavy brow. His nose is large and hooked, his long hair is dark and thin. The man stands with a warrior's stance and posture. His head is usually covered by a hood that his bright ivory eyes shine out of allowing the reflection of his dark ash-colored skin. However, he wears armor above the cloak that he wears. His sword is strapped to the back of his armor in a obsidian hued sheathe, that protects the large bastard-style blade. Many of his enemies describe his eyes as cold and lifeless, one of the biggest fears of his enemies is that they cannot see his emotion in his eyes. His calm expressions and drive for honor and respect is what causes fear in some of the most notable enemies. Those who have seen him fight describe his swordplay as a form of art and that each movement is as if a fluent stroke of a brush.

  Childhood

  Conceived of a coward and a prostitute, Canus Ara had to fight for himself through his childhood with a knack for stealing and lockpicking, he became one of the greatest thieves when it came to small objects. Even though, he was good at stealing, he'd still get caught every once in a while and then he'd be caught one last time, only this time it wasn't by one of the imperial guards, but by his mentor who was set to return when Canus was ready when he was born. The man revealed to him that he was a Vetherrin and was blessed by Trinus, the Supreme God. That he was of the bloodline of the Seula of Trinus, but due to constant denial in the generations before him that they could not access the power that they had within.

  
  
  

  New Meaning in Life

  After finding out that he was this creature known as a Vetherrin, he became an avid hunter in hunting the Ill. His whole life motivation had been found in training himself to take down the Ill and he was eventually recruited into the society of Vetherrins that were of the elite warriors, the Seula Brotherhood. Through the Seula Brotherhood, he found many allies and was given a place to rest.

  
  
  

  War Hero

  Canus Ara was a legend amongst the realm of Serenus Malum. His fame came from a battle where Canus faced one of those who led the Ill in trying to capture the port city of Brookeport. The city of Brookeport was under heavy attack by the Ill and the leader of the legion who was attacking Brookeport had came to the city as well to dethrone the lord who sat upon the governmental seat and he came face to face with Canus. Canus and the dark warrior had fought for hours upon hours before a final blow was struck. The warrior known as Canus delivered a clean cut across the demonic warrior's throat resulting in a death blow. As the legion's leader fell, they all ran astray in fear of the new found warrior of the Seula Brotherhood.

  
  
  

  The Old Man in the Cloak

  Legends still circle around the name of Canus Ara, however as time passes names become less familiar. Canus Ara, now travels throughout the realm of Serenus Malum seeking for a good story and a nice mug of mead or ale. Many of times, he has considered getting an apprentice to train in the ways of a warrior, but many of his fellow warriors say that he'd be too rough on the lad. Canus Ara can commonly be seen in armor with the insignia of the Seula Brotherhood with his hood up and his white piercing eyes glowing in the darkness as he walks through the streets of different cities seeking some Ill to kill or an apprentice to train.
