- Power is dependent upon which god Aurelia has been offering gifts to
- Different kinds of gift will affect which god answers; pain and violence will call Bellona or Mars, murder towards Dis Pater, burning objects/people to Cacus, etc.
- The Roman Pantheon is extensive and many of the gods overlap one another's purpose, with very subtle differences. Context will further affect which god Aurelia is presently worshipping. For example, whilst Mars and Bellona are both gods of war, Mars concentrates on justice whilst Bellona is a god of conquest. The circumstances surrounding the offering will divert the course of power.
- Incantations follow the same format as prayer. Many of the utterances Aurelia will make are very similar to Roman Catholic canticles. It is less the words and more the belief of the person speaking the words that decides whether it is prayer or incantation. Prayer relies on the belief that the god will do something for the individual, whilst incantation summons the power of the gods for the person to help themselves.

Aurelia will live until the end of time, unless she is interrupted by forced mortality; she cannot get sick and she will heal from physical ailments at an advanced rate. She can be killed like any other regular human, however, and when she does die, her soul will be interred as Dis Pater's personal slave.
Cost: Three souls who had evaded the severing of their cord of life, others who had promised themselves to Decima. Those with this Kindness are destined to roil against the younger generations, who seek to kill their elders to usurp their place and send them to Dis.

Aurelia's personal 'hobby' is creating genetically spliced creatures. She has only developed this skill in the last hundred years; the original Kindness was intended as a curse, summoned by her first husband to ensure that she never gave birth to another natural child. This gift allows her to understand the intricacies of life and biology, the foundation stone to her capacity to create scientifically engineered, living progeny.
Cost: Fertility. Aurelia cannot produce children of her own the natural way, and neither will IVF or any fertility enhancing procedures work. Her infertility is irreversible.

Aurelia can remember everything she has experienced in picture-perfect detail and has access to an infinite memory bank. She recalls everything she ever learned and every victory and mistake, and will do until the day she dies.
Cost: A gradual decline in mental health. The more Aurelia remembers, the less coherent she becomes, which makes her prone to periods of mania when she has been obsessing over her work or becomes overwhelmed with nostalgia and can't tell the difference between reality and history. The purpose of this from Moneta's perspective is to ensure her own survival; gods die when they are forgotten, and her existence is guaranteed so long as Aurelia can remember her.
