  • Description

    Arthur Pendragon was born at the daycare center in Kalos, a result of his parents' trainer wanting to breed a Pokemon with perfect form. Arthur was named by the trainer and then brought before the one who rated Pokemon for their overall potential. Sadly, Arthur fell short of that perfection that the trainer was looking for, and was soon after released into the wild, never to see his mother or father again, or any of his siblings.

    Arthur spent most of his days watching humans from the shadows, seeing how some were like the trainer that ceremoniously dumped him off, but most of the humans were actually very nice to their Pokemon. He spent time playing with the children he came across and protected them when they were in danger. However, he never allowed himself to be caught by trainers. He didn't want to become a simple tool to be used like his parents.

    Eventually, Arthur evolved into a Quilladin, and then finally into a Chesnaught, all without the aid of a trainer. He still protects children and allows them to play with him, but his time on his own has only left him with a sense of emptiness. However, that is not to say he is not without friends. He has made a number of friends and lovers among other Pokemon. One such close friend was a Celebi he helped to protect from Team Flare's clutches. As a reward for his heroism, the Celebi created a sword made of condensed grass energy and plant matter, being as hard as steel and enchanted to allow him access to the move Leaf Blade, Sacred Sword and Secret Sword. Following how his breeder named him, he named the sword Excalibur.
