Detailed Appearance
Short compared to most, five feet flat and 126 pounds of honed muscle, the wee soldier was without a doubt agile and athletic. Gifted with an acrobats build, shoulders were squared in militant manner and upper body toned from years of hard labor, tapering slightly towards waistline. Potential energy remained coiled like a spring waiting to be released within the subtle definition of muscled legs and arms.
Dark skinned countenance, despite scarring and lineage, spoke of a young individual. Fae ancestry heralded in a sharp jawline, high cheekbones, and a pixie nose offset by large eyes of pale blue. Small pointed ears were adorned by silver studs and cuffs.
Features were effeminate and would have been attractive if not for the brutal scar damage across the left side of the elfs face; Angry tissue permanently narrowing left eye and pulling the corner of lips into a crooked frown. White tresses were often hacked short, offering a bedraggled and perpetually messy style with fringe often dogging gaze.
While seriousness was a constant, the occasional crooked smile that crossed the little soldiers face dimpled cheeks in a boyish manner.
Clothes were generally simple, well worn but cared for. Trousers of silk or leather, often black, clung to hips. Knee high boots of black leather lined with wolfs fur guarded feet from the elements. Long sleeved tunics of gray, ivory or cream hue, always a breathable material, clung loosely to frame. Doublets, tabards or jerkins of blue hue were often layered atop.
Breasts were always bound flat, aiding in the illusion of being a young man when out of armor.
Armor itself varied, but oft was comprised of chain shirts and riveted leathers dyed deep blues and slate grays cinched firmly to the soldiers frame, overlapping sections offering protection that was easy to maneuver in.
A single pauldron was firmly buckled to right shoulder, tooled with the emblem of a great tree. Overlapping plates of leather protected thighs and hips. Broad was the belt that cinched about waistline, upon which a matching sword and knife rested within easy reach.
A sky blue crystal in a delicate wire wrap rested in clear view about the faelings neck, slung in place by a dark leather cord.
An ambiguous tenor voice was accented by a Gaelic brogue, one that tended to get thicker when angry, upset, or excited.
Flesh was marred by vicious scars, keloid marks that stood out against caramel brown skin. Hidden from view was an intricate tattoo that stretched across shoulders and down to mid back, a bright white ink that held an aura of magic.

|DIFFICULTY WITH MAGIC|
It takes longer for her to learn arcane skills than other people. Using magic causes a physical backlash the longer it is used, oft bleeding of the ears and nose and migraines of debilitating degrees.
|LOST TO TIME|
After the War of Shadows in Urraim, Azilie was lost within Elsewhere, the home realm of the Fae. She spent mere months to that realm but lost years within the mundane world, as time did not run the same in both places. Her memories became corrupted by the magic of Elsewhere.
|PTSD|
Decades of abuse, surviving wars, years alone and being kidnapped has left the woman severely mentally scarred. Though she keeps the matter a secret, what can trigger an episode can lead to almost violent breakdowns, isolationist tendencies, or attempts at suicide.
|SUFFOCATION|
She is a child of the air, the element may as well be a parent in her mind. She finds comfort in its presence. Being cut off from it, magically and, more importantly, physically, will cause her to shut down in a fit of panic, or lash out violently.
|IMPOSTOR SYNDROME|
Azilie is incapable of internalizing success. Success is dismissed as luck, timing, others help or as a result of deceiving others into thinking she is more intelligent and skilled than she believes she is.
In believing she is a fraud and not worthy of the praise and success she has achieved, she always strives to set the bar higher and higher in order to not be seen as a fake. This mentality was brought on by years of psychological abuse.
|SENSITIVITY TO TIME|
For some reason, the manipulation of time can cause disorientation, extreme fatigue, and in some instances, blackouts.

|SCARRED|
Her body is a road map of struggle, war and violence which openly contradicts her desires for simplicity and peace. Mostly consisting of burns across a large swathe of her body, the soldier also bears injuries from day to day duties and long ago training, from whip lashes and sword wounds to bad bone breaks and marks akin to slavery.
|MARIE ANTOINETTE SYNDROME|
Her peoples natural hair color is not white, but black. Something happened in her youth that caused such a shock to her system it made her hair turn white.
|INFERNI CORRUPTION|
Azilie spent the majority of her life soul bound to a demon. While free of the beast, it left a permanent mark upon her, mentally and physically, making her still sensitive to the presence of demonic/ devil and holy energies. Demonic energies have a chance of acting like an addictive drug, causing sharp behavioral shifts the longer she is in the presence of active negative powers. Being in the presence of such energies has a chance to temporarily recharge dark energy reserves. Holy energies will cause her to suffer depending on the influences duration and source, ranging from physical illness, burns, and blackouts. The taint of being demon touched is a permanent mark that can draw the attention of other demons, devils, holy creatures, and Hunters.
|WEAKENED IMMUNE SYSTEM|
From birth to the age of fifty-four, Azilie was soul bound to a dark entity. This means her body had been solely reliant upon unholy energies to grow, heal, and protect itself from disease and illness rather than her own. Without that influence anymore, her body is now forced to support itself, something it is not quite used to yet. A weakened immune system can range from illness, loss of strength, becoming easily tired, old injuries becoming problematic, etc. Where she previously had immunity, the bite of a were creature or vampire now poses a significant risk of turning or enthrallment.
|ARRHYTHMIA|
The bite of a serpent Fiend, while dosed with some manner of antivenom, was not totally cured. The damage done left her heart tachycardic, and can result in randomly triggered events that leave her flushed, nauseated, sometimes in pain, and can leading to fainting.

Her eyes reflect light at night, much like a cats, and gives the appearance of an icy blue glow.
|COLD IRON ALLERGY|
Being an offshoot of Fae ancestry, injury by iron weapons can leave what looks like chemical burns on her skin. Prolonged contact will result in the flesh going black as it dies. Wounds with iron weapons must be cleaned thoroughly to remove traces otherwise necrosis will be imminent and loss of limb or drastic surgery will be required. Anaphylaxis, coma and death are all likely results of iron injuries.
|TRUE NAME|
Creatures of magic tend to have a True Name, though its not always known to themselves from birth. Effects of calling a True Name will force an individual to follow any orders up to a Year and a Day, excluding impossible tasks and an order to kill ones self. An individual can use their own True Name on themselves to force themselves to complete a task. In this manner, one truly has power over ones self.
|LIGHT BLINDNESS|
Sensitive vision has the boon of letting an elf see for far distances, but in the same throw, can be their downfall. Bright light can't be adjusted to quick enough, leaving dark elves at risk of vision loss from cornea damage to full onset blindness. The light intensity and distance from origin to the elf determines the level of vision lost.
