The Mayberry's Fantasy Style

If she isn't out sprinting circles in butterfly-laden fields of flowers or sleeping completely unprotected beside a river not too far from the road, stripped bare and letting her clothes air dry ripe for the taking by any thief or brigand, June is nickel-and-diming it from tavern to tavern, using her smooth charm and her exotic good-looks to convince kind barmen to let her sing to their crowds for coin. All the while, she's eyeing them, deciding who she is going to target and proposition with her body for enough money to get her to the next tavern full of handsome potential lovers.

June is a travelling Bard. Sometimes she travels with her brother but she normally adventures by herself, slowly improving her ability weaving magic into song. As a bard, her main ways of earning coin are preforming, and whoring herself out when convenient. She travels often in hopes of finding rumored 'magic runes' in a crypt, leading her to often employ mercenaries to travel into dangerous ruins with her. She is a weak little goat, and fears loud noises, canines, and the dark. She gravitates towards large men, counting on their instincts to give her an extra cushion of protection, and it often works.

She can be manipulative, and often uses her magic laced words to trick people into, basically, giving her whatever she wants. She is used to getting her way and doesnt react very well to being told no. She has tricks up her sleeve and will use her feminine wiles, even if it is something as simple as wanting something to eat.

June's mother was a Fauna woman, and her father was a half dwarf, half elf. Affectionately dubbed 'quarterhorses', The little half-breeds were somewhat common among the superherd that June's mother lived in, near a settlement of the half-bred humanoids. The Quarterhorses were known for being large at birth though, and caused mother-infant death more frequently than pure faun children. June's mother was one of these fatalities.

Upon his wife's death, June's father took she and her older brother, August, away from the far northwest and into the middle north of West Daedn. Here, the Half-Fauns were a novelty, and Their father cashed in on that. He showed his son and infant daughter off as sedentary roadside freakshow. Once June could walk and talk, he carted June and August around as a circus attraction, letting people pay to watch his two children in a cramped cage. When June reached marrying age, June's father sold June to the highest bidder as a wife. After a few days, June turned back up, trembling and covered in blood, pulled by the hand by her older brother who was even bloodier than her. Her father went on this exploit this for years, selling June off only for August to bring her back soon after.

After a few years of this scheme, August became bored of this shepharding game that his father was playing. Their father was growing old, and becoming weak. To protect his sister, August did what had to be done. Now that the two of them were alone in the world and without any idea of how to subside without their father controlling them, August took his duty to protect her even more seriously than before. He would kill anyone that hurts her with his bare hands, if she ever mentioned it. God's above, can't she just get married already so that he doesn't have to worry about her so much?
