  Its pelt is a sensual & alluring pitch in hue; onyx and infinite. Soft, resonating crimson flames blossom from its hooves, the tips of its massive wings and the tip of its writhing tail. This particular form is not native to his character; instead was donned to him by the gods to embellish certain aspects of his powers. In the very early stages after the Resurrection, he was sanctioned to this form only, and has thus harnessed its full potential. It is a burden and a gift -- unhinged and dangerously beautiful. Time had birthed evolution; so many sides to the same object -- so many lost lives paired within a single, blasphemed vessel -- forever swathed in the Gold of memory.

  fact: ✓ He can be killed, but it must be done within the bowels of Hell. If his vessel is not fully destroyed, he will be reborn again given his possession of the (Phoenix). ✓ He is still affected by holy relics; however, they no longer have an incredibly potent effect on his character. His stolen armor protects him from detrimental harm. (IE: Crosses still burn the exposed flesh spanning the rest of his body. Injuries sustained in this fashion will heal.) ✓ He can no longer walk (freely) within Hell, though is still revered there within varying factions. He refuses to remove the Longma's scales for re-entry -- nor can he do so easily. Rumor states that he does re-enter, by unconventional means -- or using the aid of others. ✓ His scales can be stripped, but they will grow back. It can be a long process, or a quick one depending on the removal and how it was done. The mass removal of his scales is one of the most extreme pains he can feel; the medallions literally spanning billions of tiny veins beneath his skin -- their hold delving even into his psyche. ✓ His Chimera can open tears within reality -- their locations & purpose appear entirely sporadic. Cannot be used by self to open a passage to Hell. ✓ He is a master alchemist with incredible plant knowledge. He will take apprentices, though they must possess extreme aptitude -- his knowledge is an incredibly valuable asset. ✓ He 'bathes' in vampire (a preference, as they digest all forms of essence) blood to sate the holy energy of his scales. The ivory medallions will overcome him and he will fall into an unstable psychosis should he suffer heavy personal injury, or delay between heeding his internal call. ✓ He carries a massive 'novel' with immense, ever-expansive knowledge on Hell, hellbeasts, summons, incantations, spells; chemistry, biology, satanic methodology, demons' names; equations, recipes, diagrams, imagery & so on. This is a personal journal of 'knowledge' (shared, gained, found, acquired, discovered). This book is the only document to contain his real, demonic name. fiction: ✗ He is 100% immortal. If his vessel is fully dispersed in Hell, he will not be reborn and his son will ultimately become the next Pestilence. ✗ He is entirely merciless, unapproachable and unhinged. His lover gave him the gift of compassion; he welcomes communication and business ventures (a desire for mortal pleasure). ✗ He drinks blood to sustain. While he does ingest blood, it serves him no true purpose in doing so. All blood must be absorbed into his scales for the Longma to quell. ✗ He is completely hedonistic. He enjoys carnal pleasure, as do most demons -- but his greater purpose does not center here. He will not deny warranted advances, but he openly rejects proposals that don't suit him, or his situation. ✗ He knows everything. While he will indefinitely quest for knowledge and will likely turn down nothing of intellectual value, he is only a master in alchemy, biology, chemistry and botany because they are closely related in necessity to perform alchemy to its fullest potential.

  A basic history follows, for those interested in better understanding the character:
  (Please understand I have interpreted the Horsemen in my own way; where they are innately evil and not created in a biblical sense.)
  
  
  
  

  ♤ I. Geddon is brought forth in Hell; he is bred as the Rider -- the Horseman -- of Pestilence. ♠ II. Geddon finds himself on Earth, set to fulfill his goal and bring forth the Armageddon with his three brethren. ♤ III. In short, Plague realizes the pleasures of Earth and connects with a powerful phoenix. ♠ IV. The woman becomes his lover; they express their affection through carnal sin and forbidden connection. ♤ V. As their bond strengthens, the woman's body is ultimately poisoned; her mystical attributes only capable of warding the inflicted decay for so long. ♠ VI. His lover becomes pregnant, though she ultimately 'dies' after giving birth to his two sons. One is still at birth, whilst the other thrives.

  ♤ VII. Armageddon rips out his very essence, transported to Heaven on the cusp of the pure soul of his first son. The infant was never innately evil, inheriting his mother's passion and 'humanity.' ♠ VIII. Plague was halted at Heaven's gates, the soul of his son permitted. ♤ IX. In furious attempt to reach his spawn, he engages in battle with a holy, ivory dragon (the Longma). Protector of the gates -- he becomes the dragon. ♠ X. He imbues his body with the creature's scales after an intense battle. He enters Heaven, wearing this 'holy armor.' Those impeccable scales turn red (flecked with pure opal) when they touch his skin, kissed by the Hellfire that gives him life. ♤ XI. He is forcefully removed from Heaven, whilst his son remains. The battle is long, but few demons prosper beyond those gilded gates.

  
  
  
  
  

  ♠ XII. After confirming the safety of his first son's soul & accepting Fate, he is 'returned' to Hell and demands the presence of the Second Son who was 'kidnapped' at birth. ♤ XIII. Given the holy attributes he now sports; Plague is no longer welcome in Hell. ♠ XIV. After a desperate quarrel with his two brothers (Death and Famine) over birthright & destiny, he is mortally wounded. ♤ XV. Just as his soul begins to cease (to bring about the True Resurrection), his lover makes her presence known (damned to Hell, to pay for her lover's sins on Earth). She is now an onyx phoenix, who has been rendered blind -- her color stripped by Grief. ♠ XVI. In her last attempt of glory, she dons Plague her essence -- and her wings -- and saves him. He inherits her soul, and her existence is ended. He becomes the phoenix.

  ♤ XVII. Plague is ruefully forced from Hell; rejected given his holy attributes & denial of Rite -- the threat of his waning psyche & objective highly unwelcome amongst his kin. The war with Death & Famine viewed as highly controversial in the Depths -- with the compromise to tear apart already fragile factions & boundaries. ♠ XVIII. He retains his title as Pestilence, each Horsemen unable to reincarnate in any subsequent body (or time) as long as the original entity exists. He can only truly be felled in Hell and does not possess a singular soul; instead, he is a cornucopia -- having no real 'center.' ♤ XIX. Horseman War is his greatest ally, but they are no longer able to actively contact one another. It is rumored with their kin that War actively seeks to connect with his brother after once kidnapping & torturing a winter Seer he'd adopted with focused purpose. There are other whispers that speak of War's information regarding Plague's son. ♠XX. Occasionally minions of the underworld (and heaven) are sent to kill him, or to torture/capture him. He has an eventual ultimatum; to relinquish those scales and rejoin his brothers as the bringer of plague -- or to retain the armor and conquer for the sake of his missing son. ♤ XXI. 'The Father' is not actively involved in Plague's capture and would prefer Pestilence alive. Plague is one of his original sons (the Horsemen being his direct offspring in personal lore); the power running through Plague's veins is an original evil -- it cannot be replicated wholly, nor entirely purged. If Plague (at present) truly expires, his 'energy' is distributed back through all circles of Hell, the vessel of the Second Son the closest capable of harnessing its original capacity. The Father prefers him reclaim his place in the underworld, but does not play a heavy hand in this overall scenario. ♠ XXII. Plague's son's location is (mostly) unknown, but it is speculated that he is being tortured into becoming the replacement for Plague within Hell -- to do the bidding of a mysterious allegiance and eventually murder his father. ♤ XXIII. The single, golden horn he possesses was a gift to him from the offspring of a bull deity prior to returning fully to his current plane of existence; it serves as a channel for the holy energy absorbed by his scales. The horn is a symbol of balance, donned to him by a once ally. It cannot fully prevent the harm from his 'armor,' but it does allow the cycling of internal energy should it become too potent.

  → Death: A poison given its name by the slow onset of symptoms and the pain in which they procure. The symptoms of this particular poison vary on its user; given the status of their health and generally immunity they will suffer anything from flu like symptoms to severe pneumonia. This poison reacts slowly and symptoms increase over time; intensity depends on amount. Can be continuously used for more side-effects.
  
  → Silence: As the name suggests, this particular concoction causes its user to suffer an ailment in which they cannot speak for an allotted amount of time depending on the amount of poison ingested. The user does not suffer any additional side effects alongside temporary muteness.
  
  → Sight: As the name suggests, this particular concoction causes its user to suffer an ailment in which they cannot see for an allotted amount of time depending on the amount of poison ingested. The user does not suffer any additional side effects alongside temporary blindess.
  
  → Burn: This poison causes internally burning sensations. The sensation, depending on amount can cause severe burning feelings internally. If used as a projectile, or used on skin/pelt, this poison will burn said area of the victim's body.
  
  → Mindless: This poison causes temporary insanity in its user. The symptoms are bipolar in nature, where they may cause extreme bouts of hyperactivity to hypermanic rage-like episodes. Extreme caution is noted when donning this poison to said buyer, as it can generally be used to boost combat status, though effects vary. Similar to a Berserk effect.
  
  → Stamina: This concoction dons the user a temporary stamina increase which can be used in arena; however, like all poisons, after time it creates taxing outcomes which can cause the user extreme fatigue based on the dosage. Effect time is generally four hours.
  
  → Power: This poison gives its user a temporary boost in power; like the Stamina potion, after roughly four hours it can cause its user great fatigue based off of the amount ingested.

  Armageddon is essentially a reincarnate of the First Horseman of the Apocalypse, Pestilence. He was created in Hell to bring about the second destruction of Earth. Upon his creation and growth, his power heightened and he decided Hell as his throne. With the scorn of his brothers and Father (as he is deemed), he was banished to Earth in secondary form. Made to live feral as a griffon; he eventually gained the will to ordain himself a more viable, bi-pedal form which he now generally utilizes. In combat, it is likely he will be seen using either form as he is capable of shifting between them now at will.
  
  He is a literal, bi-pedal Horseman of the Apocalypse. A Rider infused with his Horse and borne of Satan in hell. Reincarnated in the 7th level of the Abyss to bring terror upon the Earth and walk alongside mankind before the ultimate destruction.
  
  However, being banished after attempting to usurp the throne, he has adapted to his human-esque side. Amnesia is his downfall as he has no real recollection of who he is, or what purpose he is to serve. Trapped in his own mind, he strives to find the demon inside himself and eventually make a choice. To rejoin his brothers - beasts in their own right - or live as he chooses upon Earth, banished eternally from his pride as a Rider of the Throne.

  
  
  Place of Creation: Hell, Seventh Circle (outer).
  
  

  Hell

  "The seventh circle houses the violent. Its entry is guarded by the Minotaur and it is divided into three rings... This ring houses the violent against people and property... Sinners are immersed in Phlegethon, a river of boiling blood and fire, to a level commensurate with their sins... The Centaurs, commanded by Chiron and Pholus, patrol the ring, shooting arrows into any sinners who emerge higher out of the river than each is allowed. The centaur Nessus guides the poets along Phlegethon and across a ford in the widest, shallowest stretch of the river..."
  
  ** It is said that Armageddon was born from the same pools of ink and blood that torture sinners for eternity. When in Hell it is noted that Geddon is able to freely traverse throughout all levels.

  
  
  
  → Primary Objective(s): To bringer darkness to the light.
  ** This objective has long since been set aside; now, Armageddon seeks his true
  identity through interaction. Especially through those with clairvoyance or any sort
  of otherworldly abilities. He projects himself in such a way that his energy delivers
  minute sections of his past, so he many slowly regain his memory and return to
  Hell, or develop his power into something else.
  → Equipment: He generally carries dual kama on either side of his loin cloth, sheathed. On his back he holsters a broadsword crafted of gold and gemstone. A small satchel of various herbs, opium included (it is one of the few vices that serves a positive purpose in keeping him relatively calm and focused). In an opposite satchel he carries all of his coins and a small pendant filled with a green, pulsing liquid. This is a depiction of his status as Bringer of Plagues and Armageddon.
  
  

  The Sword

  The massive broadsword which he carries is his 'key' into Hell, essentially. It remains dormant of its power outside of general combat until his memories are recovered. He uses it in battle, though it possesses no real ethereal power unless Plagam is awakened to his true nature. He is only seen with it on certain occasions. It has been noted that the item issues a soft, green glow when its user grasps its hilt. If pierced or knicked by said sword, the victim is said to come down with a sickness that lasts several weeks should they survive. (Similar to the flu and it isn't fatal unless awakened.)

  
  → Wardrobe: He is generally adorned in a simple loincloth, though the fabrics are fine obsidian hue, often silken or cashmere. Generally draped over with ornate belts of gold, and often silver; decorated by various jewelry and baubles.
  
  

  Appearance

  
  Plagam is a Horseman, and is often referred to as thus in roleplay. The upper part of his body (torso and onward) is that of a human, while is lower half resembles a horse. He is similar in appearance to a satyr in which his lower body is covered in fur. He also sports cloven hooves, but possesses a 'mane' and horse like tail. He has no horns, however.
  
  → Hair: The color of soot, as black as obsidian and as soft as velvet. He sports a mane, which reaches shoulder-length, cropped.
  
  → Eyes: The color of crimson, like dual rubies chiseled from stone. Their color ranges from vibrant to dim given the situation.
  
  → Ears: Long, pert, equine ears. Generally seen flicking idly when in conversation, or worn low when irritated or intrigued.
  
  → Face: Relatively human, chiseled jawline, plush lips, dimpled cheeks. An alluring visage fit for a snake tamer.
  
  → Body: Built, sturdy. Strong. Lower half is that of a horse; cloven hooves and exceptionally powerful calves. Certainly befitting for long runs. Hinted at willful stamina and practiced grace over any terrain.
  
  → Wings: Large, plush. Black as midnight and angelic as Heaven could offer. Brilliant onyx feathers that gleam as if dew-touched under any lighting.
  
  → Tail: His tail is that of a normal equine's, long and plush. The color of charcoal and incessantly groomed to perfection. His loincloths are fitting specifically to his form, giving his tail room to move and flick as desired.
  
  → Stature: Tall, proud. An air of arrogance and sarcasm openly portrayed about his character.

  
  
  → Desires: To recover his memory and sanity.
  → Demeanor: He's irate, irrational, cruel and a bit of a dick. He angers relatively easy
  and his patience is barred by reluctance to accept. Bouts of 'good guy' syndrome.
  ** Somewhere deep in the belly of this monstrous equine beast, there has been
  noted a side of countenance and resolve. A sense of calm, acceptance and
  understanding. This, however, is rare.
  
  Other Characteristics
  
  → Known Languages: Latin, common.
  → Lures: Women, alcohol, opium.
  → Quirks: Subservience (unless it is in his favor), weakness, cowardice.
  → Temperament: Chaotic Neutral/Evil. Between amnesia and the poison running
  through his system he often switches between a relatively parse neutral attitude
  towards a more violent, chaotic mindset/actions.
  → Interpersonal: One-on-one, Geddon isn't always as apt to putting on such a hard exterior; he is more open with others; while in a group, he generally is seen as harsh and unforgiving.
  → Intrapersonal: Given bouts of amnesiac accord, Armageddon is highly intrapersonally 'disfigured.' His thoughts generally tend to stray and this can cause severe bouts of rage and confusion.
  → Existential: Plagam is an extremely existential being given his birthright and heritage. He is always present and expectant of the unexpected.
  → Hobbies: Drinking, opium, eating, hookah, women.
  → Confidence: Perhaps overly so at times.
  → Affliction(s): Currently poisoned and infected with semi-permanent amnesia due to said poison; the only way he gains any sort of memory is through dreaming/dream 'walking.' He will occasionally uncover hidden memory through conversational triggers, where he can become volatile and irrational.
  
  ** As of recently, he suffers two gashes upon lower-mid chest - two ribs taken out and replaced with magical components. Wounds do not heal of natural accord; he being treated with magic to upkeep said injuries.
  
  → Anima: Chaotic, violent, filled with injustice and the desire for destruction - blind with rage and fighting a constant internal desire for demise of entire empires.
  → Persona: Calm, just in his own sense where morale may be lacking, arrogant, strong-willed.
