Resurrection October 22nd 2021
It comes out of nowhere. It hurts. Every time. I hear her screams, hear her say my name. I relive that night, as I do every time I come back. But there is always a purpose to my return. Sometimes I know right away. Most times I am left to guess. This is how it starts. I'm left shivering in the black night, those black wings are the first thing I see. She is always there to greet me.
The first set of eyes I find are hers, and we are one.
Soon I realize I'm staring at a hole where my grave used to be. I'm left wondering where the hell our headstone went... It's an anger that is shadowed only by that burning pain. The bullet holes that refuse to heal. The stab wounds that take time to get used to. It's a ritual. I don't have time to think about our grave, how time seemed to lose it. At least we're still in a park. Not buried under a gas station.
At least we have that, Shelly...
It doesn't matter how many times I've been here before, it's always the same sort of confusion. The city changes every time I visit. Disoriented, I stumble through the darkness. I find the now abandoned church that nobody will touch. The stone slab would be impossible to move if it weren't for my newfound strength. The crypt is still the same. Nothing down here has changed, and it gives me a level of comfort. I find my affects, I paint my face as I always have done.
I look to Veritas and it is understood.

The Descent December 3rd 2015
Another showed up last night.
They think they can change the world by sending all they have. They are foolish to think that the wicked are so weak. I already know what is to happen. They will seek me out. For I have a certain level of intelligence that they are not privy to. I have seen the way this city moves in the night. I know the creatures and darkness. But I am not one to interject. I am not one to fight for either side. I am here for the balance. And defend those who cannot defend themselves. Whether that be a dark, weak being facing the light or the opposite. For I have seen the light in creatures with horns. And I have seen wickedness in those with feathered wings. It's not black and white. As much as they are in denial about it. I know my purpose here.
I will not sway from it.
