    Skipping the playstyles chart, you know the drill. My no's are the usual, my yes's are the usual, and yes I am DTF if you, like me, have a boner for weird-lookin people.

    Anyway, here are some interactions it would be possible to have with Floyd.


    Note: I am putting a hold on new Floyd plots for a while due to low spoons and too many RPs I need to do. I'll be down for shenanigans again when I have more energy to spare.


    Internet friends. Floyd is terminally awkward in meatspace, but he sometimes befriends people online and then meets up with him IRL. He plays MMOs and posts in the #new versailles tag on social media, so he shouldn't be too difficult to find.

    SENPAI PLEASE NOTICE ME. New Versailles is home to many people who are way better at hunting the paranormal than Floyd will ever be. Floyd will latch on to one of these people like a leech if given half a chance. Floyd is now bugging the shit out of Dallas for paranormal information.

    YOU ARE A FUCKING ATHHOLE. ♠ Floyd's default mode of social interaction is rudeness, and his buttons are very, very easy to push. Poke him with a stick and he hemmorhages emotion. He is very likely to acquire rivals and bickerfriends.

    Yeah, yeah, working on it, boss. Floyd's mom is always on his ass about him getting a job. Is your character willing to overlook the fact that he is a surly douche with negative motivation to do anything that isn't related to his personal interests? Floyd is now a delivery boy for The Chop Shop!

    VERY INTERETHTING. Floyd has been in NV long enough to learn respect and caution towards the supernatural, but he's still a huge nerd who will always jump at the chance to interrogate chat with supernatural characters about their cool supernatural shit.

    Secrets.


    Floyd's mother, Betty Guggenheim, is an ex-hunter who used to be a big name in New Versailles's supernatural community. She retired and moved away after she had Floyd, not wanting to expose her child to the dangers of living in one of America's most supernaturally active cities. Floyd has no memory of ever living in New Versailles, nor any knowledge of his mother's past, but something about the city must have stuck with him; despite Betty's best attempts to shelter him, Floyd grew up to be one of the most supernaturally aware muggles she's ever seen.

    Betty was always careful to never make Floyd feel like his obsession with the supernatural was wrong, but she never really encouraged it, either - until now. She has given up on trying to steer him towards a mundane life, and is now just trying to keep him safe, let him rediscover his roots, and find fulfillment at his own pace. He worries her to death.

    Plot-wise, there are many different ways your character could connect with Floyd through his mother, especially if your character is a long-term resident of New Versailles. Your character might recognize Floyd's last name. They might be an old family friend, or an old family enemy. They may have even known Floyd when he was a baby.

    Fully human characters who are old enough to have a kid in their 20's are eligible for the position of Floyd's mysterious missing dad.
