APPEARANCEStrikemaster Ice stands at 5’9” and bears a lanky frame. He keeps his blonde hair in a buzz cut but for his bangs, which stick up and slightly back. His eyes are green, and his right eyebrow is bisected by a small scar, while the rest of his round face suffers from a mild case of acne. Both of his ears are pierced, and he wears gold hoop earrings.
MC Cobra is 6’3”, and while he is slightly more muscular than Ice, he is still more lithe than buff. His skin is just a little darker than Ice’s, and his eyes are olive. The natural color of his hair, which is worn brushed forward and sticking out over his face, is a medium shade of brown, though he dyes both it and his eyebrows purple. His face is triangular in shape, with a pointed chin and a mouth that’s most often found in an excitable grin, and he bears the most piercings of the three; two in each ear and one in his nose, all adorned with silver hoops.
DJ Fist is 7’ in height, and is as wide across as Ice and Cobra together. His skin tone is a dark tan, and his spiky black hair is brushed back, while his forehead is covered by a wide headband. Sideburns frame his heart-shaped face, which usually bears a serious, if not stern, expression. His eyes are dark brown, almost black in color, and like Ice, he also wears gold hoop earrings.
All three have been shown to wear the same kind of clothing; black, long-sleeved shirts, loose-fitting brown pants held up with belts, black shoes, and black elbow, knee, and wrist guards.
As dragon demons, they have green scales all over their bodies and thick, semi-prehensile tails with goldenrod scales on their bottom halves. Their ears become pointed, they develop spikes on their elbows and chins, their hair become more like spikes or horns, and their teeth and nails sharpen into fangs and claws, while their irises become red in color. They wear dark red, sleeveless shirts, with trimming and high collars (both black) and a fire symbol on the chest, reddish-brown loose pants that cut off just below their knees with tight black trimming, and black sashes around their waists.
They also occasionally wear black helmets in both forms, usually when participating in extreme sports.
HISTORYStrikemaster Ice, MC Cobra, and DJ Fist first met in a monastery that sat above the clouds, in a mountain range somewhere in Asia. While staying there, they trained under the local monks in martial arts, but they were eventually kicked out of the monastery for bad behaviour before they could complete their studies. They spent the time between leaving the monastery and their debut appearance on the show looking for a way to get revenge, and their search eventually led them to a large opal…right at the same time that an archaeologist named Jackie Chan was retrieving it for the San Francisco Museum of Natural History.
At the time, Jackie had mistaken them for another group of criminals called the Enforcers, causing him to underestimate their abilities and allowing them to easily beat him. It was only the intervention of Jackie’s niece, Jade, and the Enforcers (who were trying to turn good) that prevented them from taking the opal. When the Enforcers reverted to their old ways and tried to take the opal for themselves, however, the Ice Crew were easily able to steal it from them, revealing that the opal was actually a magical artifact that could be bound to the user’s hand and release bursts of destructive energy. After tying up the Enforcers and hanging them over a cliff, they headed back to the monastery to get their long awaited revenge.
By the time Jackie, Jade, and the freed Enforcers found the monastery, the Ice Crew were well on their way to destroying it. Unlike the first time, however, Jackie had a much better idea of their capabilities, and was able to defeat them, taking the opal back and saving the monastery.
The boys disappeared for a while after that incident, only showing up again sometime later. A dragon demon named Drago was searching for fragments of chi from seven Immortal Demon Sorcerers in order to boost his own powers and take over the world, and hired the three as henchmen to help him accomplish his goal, augmenting them with some of his own chi to turn them into dragon demons as well. Despite the power boost and their efforts, however, they were thwarted time and again by Jackie and his family, each setback increasing the tension between the crew and Drago as he took his frustrations out on them.
The final straw came when the Chans successfully stripped Drago of his fire chi, causing him to lose most of his power. The crew were quick to realize the implications, and even as they kidnapped Jackie, his Uncle, and his friend Captain Black to hold as hostages for the demon chi, they became increasingly unruly and disobedient, eager to get some payback for Drago’s prior abuse. Things culminated into a full blown betrayal when the time for the exchange came, as the crew outright attacked Drago and took the chi for themselves. Unfortunately for them, their victory was short-lived, as Uncle was quick to remove the chi from them, and Drago just as quick to divert it to himself, finally accomplishing his goal of absorbing all the chi.
Despite their previous betrayal, Drago was surprisingly quick to forgive them when they came back to him. After giving them some more chi—Earth for Ice, Wind for Cobra, and Thunder for Fist—he sent them to Section 13, the government organization that allowed Jackie to get to the chi and hold them after retrieving them, and destroy it. With their new powers, they were easily able to overcome Section 13’s defenses and bring the underground headquarters down, heading to the baseball stadium that Drago had taken over to help him fight the Chans, though things became complicated when Uncle freed Shendu, Drago’s father, from his imprisonment to fight Drago. The fight was finally finished when Uncle and his chi wizard apprentice, Tohru, cast a reversal spell, sending both Drago and Shendu to the Demon Netherworld and stripping the Ice Crew of all the demon chi they had acquired.
Despite the efforts of Jackie and his allies, however, they managed to evade getting put into jail, and are now laying low, trying to throw Section 13 off of their trail before doing anything else.
PERSONALITIESThe leader of the trio, Ice has a pretty laid back demeanor; he's able to take most setbacks in stride, usually without any bellyaching, and isn't afraid of taking opportunities when he sees them. Of course, this doesn't mean he's nice in any way; if you get in his way, or happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when he gets bored, then you're likely to be in for a world of hurt. He tends to be destructive in general, because he'd learned early on that doing "bad" things or otherwise disruptive activities got attention a lot more quickly than behaving did, which is something he craves, due to not getting a lot of it while he was growing up. For as easy going as he is, however, there are several ways to piss him off. The easiest way is to make him think that you're ignoring him, but showing him up at something, especially fighting, is also a good way to get onto his shit list.
Cobra is the youngest and most energetic of the trio, with an excitable personality and a happy-go-lucky attitude. He generally has a tendency to goof around and try to show off, which could lead some to doubt his ability to take anything seriously; he does try, however, when he sees that Ice and Fist are doing the same. When he manages to get angry, however, it's a jarring switch. Any trace of his previous carefree nature vanishes, and he quits with the constant grinning and flashiness in favor of a stony expression and straight up pummeling the target of his ire.
While he may be the largest of the three, Fist is also the quietest; he rarely ever talks, allowing the other two to speak for him, and on the few occasions he does, he’s suprisingly soft-spoken. He’s also the most introverted of the three, preferring to be with the other two or by himself than around people he doesn’t know. Despite what some people might think upon first meeting him, however, he is very intelligent, and is also the most adaptive of the three when fighting, showing a tendency to make use of the surrounding environment to his advantage.
STRENGTHS- While at the monastery, all three trained under the monks in martial arts. As a result, they've become proficient and powerful fighters, capable of knocking down stone walls with only some effort.
- When in their dragon demon forms, they gain enhanced speed and strength, as well as a slight resistance to fire. Ice is capable of breathing fire and throwing fireballs, as well as heating up parts of his body, such as his claws, to visibly high temperatures; Cobra gains the largest enhancement to his speed, capable of running fast enough to potentially disorient his opponents; and Fist gains the largest enhancement to his strength, capable of carrying up to a several tons of weight with only a slight amount of exertion.
- Despite their thug behavior, they're all pretty smart. Fist is practically a prodigy when it comes to mechanical engineering, and Cobra and Ice aren't exactly slouches, either. Together, they've been able to perform such feats as creating a fully functional deep-sea submarine out of junkyard scrap in most likely a couple days (with working torpedoes!); dismantling a roller coaster and reconstructing it in the confines of the Space Needle in Seattle, without any apparent compromises to its structural integrity; and creating two pilot-able battle robots, the first and last of their kind ever seen on the show.
TROUBLES- Due to their disruptive behaviour, the crew were kicked out of the monastery before they could complete their studies. As such, while they are able to apply the things they have learned, they are by no means master martial artists.
- Their largest obstacle when it comes to achieving goals is their laziness and lack of motivation. They're more likely to use their talents for frivolous things meant to keep themselves entertained than more serious things, unless the results will be immediate or they are pressured to do so.
OTHER- Ice fails forever at math--even simple division trips him up. This confines him to more physical roles whenever the three are working on something, such as welding and assembly. He also has a rather severe allergy to flower pollen, which manifests in the form of near-debilitating sneezing fits.
- Cobra is an absolute wimp when it comes to horror games. Even if he's just watching someone else play, he gets easily freaked out and will often have nightmares afterwords. Funnily enough, he can handle horror movies just fine. He has no idea why.
- Spanish is technically Fist's first language, though he can speak English just as well, having used both languages his entire life. On the rare occasions he speaks, his grammar is better than Ice and Cobra's, though he uses the same slang terms.
