  Damian suffers from PTSD from his time served in the armed forces. He is only just starting to understand how serious his condition is. While he stumbles through reacquainting himself with some semblance of a normal life, he has made the decision to give therapy a try. It was suggested upon his discharge, but it was only after a handful of mishaps that Damian became more receptive to the idea.

  Damian is the type of guy that endeavors to be honest with anyone, despite how they might feel about what he has to say. “You might not like what I have to say, but ya know it'll be the truth” is one of his favorite things to say. He believes honesty and trust are at the core of any good relationship. When he builds a deep connection with anyone, he intends to keep it. Damian is deeply loyal and protective of those he cars about the most, even to the point of putting himself in harm's way to save them any suffering. Selfless almost to a fault, Damian never stops to wonder if he should put himself between a person and immediate or potential danger. In this respect, he is quick to act and consider the consequences later. He's an excellent friend to have and a decent human being. His default mode is to be kind, courteous and welcoming. Damian tries his best not to make waves and avoids making too many enemies.

  As a teenager, Damian developed a penchant for working on cars. This interest spread from cars to motorcycles to anything with a motor. He'd always found things to tinker with or fix growing up. It was only natural that his 'toys' got bigger as he grew himself. Restoration became a fixation for him in his later teen years, especially with classic vehicles. He loves to take something beaten up and make it like new again. Projects that allow him to do that are the ones Damian's most enthusiastic about.

• Fashion is a concept that almost completely eludes him. Damian simply likes to be comfortable more often than not. Jeans and t-shirts are commonplace with him. Boots, especially cowboy or combat style, are his preferred footwear, and every now and again, he can be seen sporting a cowboy hat and maybe a watch. Damian is known to dress up from time to time. Of course, his idea of dressing up is putting on an ironed button-up with a nice pair of jeans and a suitable blazer. Style isn't really his forte, and sometimes he needs a little help in that department.
  
  

  

  Damian is an animal lover. He'll jokingly swear that he's much more of a dog man, but he's not exactly impartial to cats. There have been more than a few instances of Damian taking in strays. Experience has taught him that he can't always have the animals he wants cohabiting in perfect harmony. It's likely he'll try to keep his animal hoarding to one or two pets—three at the most.
