  These are some of the things that the masses will immediately notice from his presence (Or from the various bounty flyers all over the place...). However, the hooded cloak was good enough to conceal him and allow open movement through the public... until he was questioned and asked to remove the hood should someone get an unnerved suspicion of his identity.
  
  And according to the bounty flyers. certain slander such as Death Dealer, Archangel of Death, Son of Judgement, The Head Hunter, The Arian Front, The Wings of Despair were just some of the few things he was known for nationally and internationally and should absentmindedly respond to.

  Rowan may appear much younger than he really is. This isn't some immortality trickery simply because he wasn't immortal. Instead, it was just a trait the Arian people all had, they aged very well in appearance and the majority of them aged well with physical health too. However, the mind would be the only exception as their psyche had a shaky track record of beginning to break down generally within the age range of 50-70.
  Like most true blooded Arians, his facial features knew not the meaning of sag. His jaw line was crisp and highlighted, his face was angular and smooth with finely tuned details, his body was clad with minimal sign of high age but this didn't mean they didn't show it. To the trained eye, someone would be able to decipher a senior citizen from a youthful one.

    NPD Narcissist Persona Disorder: Grandiosity, callous and unemotional traits, disregard for others' feelings, excessive need for admiration, receptor antagonist, or social isolation. In Rowan's case, while he won't actively seek your admiration and awe; he will inadvertently play 'hard to get'. PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: A disorder characterized by failure to recover after experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event. While his case was officially diagnosed as mild, his 5 deployments, 11 near death encounters, 19+ senseless beatings, and 2 direct assassination attempts has legitimately broken him beyond repair. With such a folio, he can easily be triggered into a state of severe anxiety. However, what gets him the most is the fear of finding happiness and solidity. Those two feelings, if played out wrong, can literally drive him to the point of being a danger to himself.

    Neuropsychiatric Disorder aka Urbach–Wiethe disease: The amygdala is thought to be involved in processing biologically relevant stimuli and in emotional long-term memory, particularly those associated with fear. Studies have shown a correlation between amygdala activation and episodic memory for strongly emotional stimuli. While Rowan's case could be considered lite to mild, he lacks the necessary functions and ingredients to experience fear in the sense it would cause him to panic. While he still can experience anxiety attacks just like anyone else, those attacks wouldn't be induced by present fear. SNHL Sensorineural Hearing Loss:Hearing loss caused by damage to the inner ear or the nerve from the ear to the brain. Due to battlefield severe blunt force trauma to the head and losing his right ear as a result, he's hard of hearing but his right ear experiences mild to total hearing loss.

    Illiterate Unable to read or write. Thanks to his neuro-kinetic ability to detect brain waves, he can speak languages he's deciphered. However, unless taught in conjunction, he won't be able to read or write in that language. Alcoholism Symptoms include repeated alcohol consumption despite related legal and health issues. Those with alcoholism may begin each day with a drink, feel guilty about their drinking, and have the desire to cut down on the amount of drinking. Rowan certainly displays more of the behavioural side effects of this chronic ailment. This entails aggression, agitation, compulsive behaviour, self-destructive behaviour, or lack of restraint.

    Sever Oneiroid Syndrome From the Ancient Greek "ὄνειρος" (oneiros, meaning "dream") and "εἶδος" (eidos, meaning "form, likeness"), is an element of the catatonic form of schizophrenia and presents a dream-like or nightmare-like state as a background of intensive psychopathological experiences. Philophobia The fear of falling in love or emotional attachment. The risk is usually when a person has confronted any emotional turmoil relating to love but also can be a chronic phobia. This affects the quality of life and pushes a person away from commitment.

    Taphophobia The irrational fear of being buried alive. It is also closely related to the fear of death (Thanatophobia). Reverse Intermetamorphosis A delusional misidentification syndrome, related to agnosia. The main symptoms consist of patients believing that they can see others change into someone else in both external appearance and internal personality. The disorder is usually comorbid with neurological disorders or mental disorders. In the case of Arians, especially Psions, this can cause them to believe they are and have been someone they are not. Leading to mental inception beyond repair.

    Thanatophobia (subjective) The fear of death, not to be confused with necrophobia, which is a specific fear of dead or dying persons and/or things (i.e. others who are dead or dying, not one's own death or dying). Fregoli's Delusion Disorder The Fregoli delusion, or the delusion of doubles, is a rare disorder in which a person holds a delusional belief that different people are in fact a single person who changes appearance or is in disguise.

• Exotic by Nature

  While not some super being, he does possess some telekinetic abilities though limited to whoever should make direct eye-contact with. However, his secondary ability was likely most unique; that was his Neuro-Kinetic abilites.
  
  

  Psionic Abilities

  Psionic Sight: (Details) Once prolonged and direct ocular contact is made (3-5sec average), Rowan can see the target's foremost thoughts and sense their true emotions. This will only activate once the target is within 5-7ft of range and any closer its effects become stronger. However, the drawback is they can sense Rowan's thoughts and emotions as well; but unless they know what they're seeing and sensing, Rowan can still maintain the upper hand due to the confusion it will likely cause the target. This basic yet vital ability also serves as a base for 90% of his psionic abilities. However... due to the nature of this basic ability, Rowan often feels like it's a curse. This is because he feels that he can never be genuine with people due to lack of eye contact. Moreso, it has proven to be dangerous as well, as he's encountered a few individuals who have nearly left him comatose. Charisma: __ (Details) Being leader of an entire army for a nation has really had a play on his... 'motivational' skill. Or perhaps he cheats and flaunts his mind trickery ability to know just what to say and what buttons to press? The sad truth of it all, no one will truly understand other than himself and other Psions. Mental Infection (Puppet Master): __ __ __ (Details) As a literal form of rudimentary hypnosis, especially on lesser skilled beings, Rowan can influence his will onto them. Meaning he can bend the will of another into doing a simple task for seconds or maybe even minutes. The effect is short-lived and often times the target feels as if they simply blacked out, however, some mentally stronger individuals may indeed be cognitive of what is happening but not able to resist it once they've been snared. In very rare cases will the target continue to feel influences, such as a matter that may have been of dire priority at the time Rowan used the ability.

  Overload: __ __ __ __ (Details) An ability that allows Rowan to attack the mind of his target by overloading it. A skill he is not good within the least. He was merely too disciplined and methodical for it to be as effective that it could be. However, the threat was still present for both ends, regardless. Other Psions who were known to be near experts at this were deemed mentally unstable and on the brink of absolute insanity. An attack like this could prove deadly for the affected or for the caster due to the 87/100 chance of backfire. Universal Language: __ __ __ (Details) Rowan's secondary Psionic ability is he's Neuro-kinetic. Through the unique approach of 'listening' for the millions of electrical pulses the mind transmits, he can decipher any language he comes across. This proved especially useful during his days as a General, principally when collecting taxes from fleeing vigilantes. However, This ability isn't without its drawbacks; due to the complexity and energy taxing side-effects, it was something he'd only use if utterly necessary and even still, the chances of success and total accuracy was alarmingly low. Also, it does not help him understand literature and thus will not know how to read their text unless taught. This technique does not require the use of Psionic Sight but it does help. It is also powerless against any form of sign language. Hallucinogeniac: (Details) Arguably his most potent ability and most threatening due to high success rate. This ability allows him to make his target(s) hallucinate with any plausible outcome/scenario for a mere few seconds. With the help of scentless pheromones his body emits, he can 'embed' a scenario into the target's mind into seeing a completely different outcome. Generally giving himself and/or his teammates an advantage in combat as this never fails to make the opponent flinch in a way that would leave them wide open for a direct blow.

• PARTY! Arian style!

  Rowan likes to drink... like, a lot! The times he isn't hiding about or cooped up in some sanctum, he's very likely to be found in a tavern, brothel, or an inn... basically anywhere that has a bar and serves any form of strong ales and meads.
  
  This was fine, who doesn't enjoy a good sour biting liquor occasionally?

  However, should he go too far and become inebriated, he becomes an entirely different person...

  
  One you'd not expect, given his overall ornery and 'evil' actions. Once past 'The Vanishing Point', he slips into a single or combo of three personality types, rarely progressing through these types in stages. He does fawn over the idea of a drinking competition; having a balanced record of wins and losses.

  • Silent-n-Avoidant: Typically when lite to mildly buzzed, he'll sulk and watch his surroundings. Often times blatantly ignoring someone other than staring at them as if they weren't even standing there.
  • Social Opportunist : In this stage, he's silent until someone is so unfortunate enough to sit near by. Once he notices, he can become a chatterbox but not with stories someone would desire to hear as the plots typically entail warfare, oppression, and despair.
    This is also when Rowan's labyrinth-like mind is at it's most vulnerable; go ahead, ask him anything! It's very likely he'll tell you anything, you just may not like the answer or the manner of which the answer was given.
  • Utterly antagonistic, grieving, and brash: At this point, it would likely be best to clear the area as he may start giving free flying lessons to any object within arms reach; namely towards nearby people and/or you. If Rowan is so far gone to the point he's questioning his physical existence and the stars, this makes him most dangerous but just as vulnerable too.
    His moods can shift like a summer's breeze and all rationality seems to have flown the coop, as well as any real sign of thought processing. Cognitive motor functions are ancient history and speech is... well, just noises such as groans and the occasional native language (Arian/Gaelic) swearing very fiercely.
    While this far gone, he's very likely to start a brawl if he so much as thinks you looked at him cross-ways or if you happen to make eye contact and his telepathy ability begins to scan your foremost thoughts and make him hear voices, your voice, in his own thoughts.

  
  
  What's it take to get him wasted? That depends on the strength of a given liquor, not so much the brew itself, however, the bitter tasting ones seem to be direct about getting the job done.

  • 13-28%/vol: Useually 7-9 shots or 5.8 tankards before feeling tingly.
  • 30-50%/vol: Generally 3-4 well timed shots or 3 brimming tankards.
  • 68-81%/vol: 3 shots flat for tingles or 3 tankard = 0 --> 100 very fast!
  • 90-100%/vol: 2.1 precariously filled tankards = bye bye beautiful
  • 100%/vol+: 1.8 brimming tankards = "Am I real? Why do I--we exist?"

  Why's he so willing to get plastered to the point of transcending reality? You ask? Why would any one in their right mind want to do that? ('right mind' being subjective in Rowan's case, of course).
  It's simple; Rowan may have experienced something sufficiently traumatizing. The solution? Soak himself to the point of searing his mind and expecting to misremember the immortalized pain-n-despair from so long ago. Even to this day, those memories feel as if they just happened hours ago. But you wouldn't know that, would you? Unless, of course, you simply asked him while he was good-n-buzzed and serene.
