• Background

  James Adems was always a problematic child. Abandoned when just 5 years old he to went one of the many orphanages in the city of Craycott. He made a lot of trouble. When he was 8 he was caught many times stealing on the market. But over the years he got better.
  With the earned money he bought himself books to learn to himself to read. He hide the rest of the stolen money he hide under a removable tile under his bed.
  One day one of the monks named Ruthren found out that James had a secret coin stash somewhere. Ruthren confronted James and told him that he wanted half of the whole stash or else he would be thrown out of the orphanage. James said that he had to have a week to make preparations so he could get the money. Ruthren agreed and told James he had seven days to give to money.
  But James had other plans. In the seven days he planned his leave from the orphanage. First he located where the monks kept the money for the orphanage. Luckley this took him no longer then a day. The money was stored in a chest in the office of the head monk. The rest of the remaining days he gather his clothes and other tools. On the fifth night James decided to leave.
  In the middle of the night he gathers the coin under his bed. Then he went to the office of the head monk. The door was never locked so that was no problem. The chest with money had only a padlock on it. One hit with a hammer and the chest was open. James filled his backpack with the coin.
  Before he left the orphanage for good. He went to the kitchen to gather food and drinks. To his surprise Ruthren was there. Before Ruthren could say or do anything. James took a kitchen knife and ran it through Ruthrens throat. James took enough food and the knife and left the orphanage at the age of 15. Never to look back.
  
  Living on the streets of Craycott James soon bought a sword for self defense. He also saw other uses for it. So in his free time he learned from other street bandits how to use his sword and fight dirty. Also how to pick locks. In return he paid them for their services.
  
  When he had reached the age of 20 he knew everything to make his own fortune by stealing and robbing people. He left Craycott to seek out his fortune in the world.
