• Important notes.

  ** - Dium was acquired from a deep-forest expedition. She was tricked by the cartographers to act as their guide, and then later to return with them. However, after their arrival, she was sold into slavery as an exotic. Not much is known about her species, and when questioned, she will usually answer vaguely, or change the subject. However, there are several things that have been noted.
  
  First, if she is left unattended to for too long (without water and sunlight), her extremities begin to turn yellow, and 'wilt'- looking much older.
  
  Also, if left outside for a long period (several weeks), extremities will start to grow little sprouts, while Dium herself begins to lose the will to move. It has been thought that if left alone, she would anchor to the ground, and possibly 'bloom' other orchids of the same species.
  
  Also that her markings change with the season, growing and retreating. During summer, her markings might go all the way down the back of her thighs, and her elbow markings joining up with her back markings. In the winter, her markings can become more like 'freckles', rather than whole blotches. However if kept in a stable climate such as equatorial regions- her markings will not generally fluctuate heavily.
  
  Finally, that she is carnivorous, and will not eat vegetables; but also that she only eats when lacking proper sunlight.
  
  She does not seem to enjoy either extreme hot, or cold weather, or dry climates. However this does not appear to affect her physical health, just her emotional well-being.
