Full Name: Nero Aph-Eriun-Relixus

Nickname: Relix, Rel. His culture considers the use of given names to be an honour afforded to those who have earned great trust, or deep (not necessarily romantic) affection.

Age: Indeterminate adult; at least three centuries old.

Sex:  Intersex. His species are oviparous hermaphrodites with virtually no gender distinctions among them, though Relix is fine with presumptions of maleness, for convenience' sake. (He/They).

Species: Aquatic Dragon — maintains humanoid form in polite company. Also, it's just easier to get through doors that way.







Description: Relix has a malnourished, whipcord physicality to him, bordering on skeletal but still robust enough to be a dangerous and effective predator. The broad, sinewy scaffolding of his shoulders is protected by bone-like plates of modified dragonscale that can splay out or lock tight, with similar semi-recumbent scutes down the length of his spine. Digitigrade legs add extra height to an already long-limbed body, capping him at a solid eight feet.

Facial Features: Gaunt and definable overall as "epicene", with sharp, sculpted angles expressing a severity that remains somewhat gender-ambiguous. A mature— and some might say menacing— form of androgyny.

Hair: White, undercut, with a noticeable widow's peak and a loose, side-swept forelock. Not at all unusual if you ignore the tentacles, which are independantly mobile and seem to have a mind of their own...(They don't actually; that'd be weird.)

Eyes: Narrow, indolently-lidded, with a white iris. The weak coronal glow they produce is similar to the color of lead nitrate flame; silvery teal.

Skin: Varyingly stark white to teal-grey (depending on activity level), and slightly more translucent than human flesh. His vascular system is hemocyanin-based, so

Physical Markings: Many, and subject to change.

Physical Drawbacks: Willow-thin fingers and knotted joints are fragile and may easily see damage. Particularly delicate in the ankles.
There is, however, no evidence of injury to these bodyparts in any respect since arrival.

Current Inflictions: Minor head injury and abdominal bruising. The captive is malnourished.

Physical Defenses: Of primary concern to patron and staff safety is the captive's ability to produce a low-grade neurotoxin (worked up with some effort in what are
believed to be modified salivary glands). Unlike his dark, viscid saliva— the venom is thin, clear, and may cause temporary blindness upon contact with the eyes.

Like all venoms it is essentially harmless if ingested, unless open wounds are present orally or along the digestive tract, and a bite resulting in penetration of the skin
can lead to minor paralysis and motor dysfunction to a very short term. Moreover, his teeth are scary as fuck. For these reasons, Anguine is kept continuously muzzled.

The captive is also tremendously light on his feet. Throughout his imprisonment, Anguine has exhibited a level of agility most often associated with schooled athletes
and combat artists. Reflexes are first-rate. During ongoing evasive efforts with Tether staff he has also shown a propensity toward extreme violence.

Note: It has been recently discovered that the captive is capable of producing a mild EOD (electric organ discharge) along his forearms, palms, and fingertips. The charge has been
estimated at peaking around 80 volts by 0.25mA, and consecutive shocks weaken significantly as the electrocytes in his skin tire. These EOD shocks flicker at 20 PPS (pulses-per-second)
and can be sustained for up to four seconds. This can cause muscular contractions and minor burns with sustained skin contact. He has been fitted with voltage transformers in the form
of magically enhanced bracers lined with ferrite for ease of handling. Any attempt to generate a charge is disarmed to a benign tingling sensation.

For patron safety, prospective renters and owners are firmly advised not to remove these.

Appealing Attributes and Attraction: Few. Strong, sharp features. Pleasant masculine voice with a soft, lyrical baritone-tenor quality. Slight accent.
Smells strikingly of fresh coconut. Overall the captive is rude, somewhat physically unattractive, and profoundly void of manners.

Clothing: N/A. No clothing was arrived with, and none has been provided. Sexual organs are internal. The captive appears indifferent to low temperatures.

Other Items on Person: Elaborate piercings and subcutaneous jewelry of an unidentified aurous metal believed to be semiprecious, weld-sealed and therefore
requiring medical intervention to remove. Scarring is likely.

Feral or Cultured: Cultured and highly intelligent in speech and interaction with fellow penmates. Some animalistic tendencies.

Phobias: None identified. The captive does not respond well emotionally to physical contact.

Disorders: Post-traumatic amnesia due to mild concussion.

How do they present themselves: Dominant, dissocial, threatening, provocative. Anguine is quite gentle with other slaves and certain freepersons— attitude toward guards
(and patrons in general) notwithstanding. Smaller, less imposing folk of significantly sweeter disposition have been noted to effectively disarm him and even direct his actions,
doing so at a rate of success frighteningly disproportionate to all other forms of influence or outright force. Put simply; he is cooperative with cute things.

Feelings towards being owned/rented: Resistant.

Overall Attitude: Volatile, but not beyond reason.

Quirks: Magnetically drawn to "damsels in distress", regardless of gender. Obsessive interest in gemstones. Indeterminate sexual preference.

Hobbies/Interests: Derives extreme pleasure from the verbal harassment of patrons with threats and obscenity. Repeated punishments have been administered for this behavior.

High or Low Maintenance: High Maintenance. Physical restraints provided and behavioral modification (E.g.; breaking, training) highly suggested for the typical renter/owner.

Diet/Allergies: Omnivorous; small live prey favored. Raw vegetables and fresh, unprepared meat readily accepted. Uninterested in cooked food.

Note: Anguine has been revealed to be highly allergic to steel commonly used in... Well, everything. Superficial contact with this substance shows no adverse affects.
However, a knife or any steel implement that happens to pierce his flesh may cause extreme emotional distress, disorientation, nausea, epistaxis (nose bleeds), hematemesis
(vomiting blood), and loss of consciousness. Onset of symptoms is immediate, and removal of the metal from tissue results in a similarly swift recovery.
Minor nasal bleeding may continue intermittently for several hours after exposure.

Languages Spoken: Fluent Common, an unknown sibilant "Nordic" tongue, and a nonverbal language involving complex hand-signs and subtle body movements.

Can they Read/Write: Yes to either, but not in Common/English.

Can your character produce magic: No. His abilities are (mostly) physiologically realistic.

carving, archery, butchery (skinning, cleaning, meat preparation), fighting dirty. Possess some medical knowledge both herbal and surgical.

(Some as in; probably not going to be performing any kidney transplants. He's stitch-savvy with simple fleshwounds, though.)
