Strengths Enhanced senses Elric's sensitivity to the sun stems from well-developed night vision. He possesses enhanced smell, sight and hearing. Enhanced Strength Elric is physically more advanced than the normal human. He can sustain extreme exertion. Enhanced Speed Ric is fast on his feet, though he doesn't employ it often. Thusly he cannot sustain great speeds for a long amount of time. Regeneration After feeding on blood, Elric has the ability to regenerate wounds. The more regeneration necessary, the higher quantity/quality of blood needs to be consumed. When he has not fed in some time will struggle to regenerate wounds with speed faster than a normal human's, and wounds regenerate their fastest within an hour of feeding. Upon ingestion, humans can take advantage of his vampiric blood as well. |
Weaknesses Sunlight This is the bane of any vampire’s existence. Direct sunlight contact has the ability to kill Elric after only a few hours. Heavy cloaking and eye protection can allow brief moments of daytime walking, from one shaded location to another. Feeding Nearly all of Elric's abilities are significantly diminished if he does not feed regularly. A lack of blood can cause weakness, dizziness, decreased ability to tolerate holy objects and sunlight. Feeding consumes his thoughts if hungered. Poor quality of blood, such as animal blood offers very little boost to his strength. Holy & Hallowed Objects Objects that have been blessed by priests or divine entities are considered to be “holy” and have crippling effects to Ric. Items like holy water act as the equivalent to acid and may burn his flesh on contact, buthe often does not feel the effects until necrosis of upper tissue layers begins. Hallowed Grounds weaken him when he stands upon them; he cannot enter churches. |
● Mental manipulation ⇢ - can manipulate brain synapses, thoughts; mind control. ● Elemental control Earth/Fire/Air ⇢ Revives plantlife. Creates Small flames. Increase gusts. Water ⇢ His element. Can flawlessly mirror the fluidity of water, thus he can manipulate water waves, create them, shape them into different items or weapons. Can paint magically, extract water from a target's body, can manipulate blood and extract it. |
● Aural magic Life draining ⇢ can absorb the life energy of the target and utilize it in some way. Cannot drain energy to the point of death. Astral projection ⇢ astrally projecting himself into targets' dreams. ● Transfigurations ⇢ alters the properties of an item, transform it into something with the same weight, density and shape; Elric can transfigure same size items into one another and at times, enlarge an item as well, change its physical proterties. |
● Manipulation of bodily kinesthetic ⇢ can control the tightening and relaxing of the muscles of bodies other than his own, can increase or decrease the work of organs (other than the brain), - Stitching - a.k.a. healing - can 'stitch' minor wounds closed and can increase/decrease bleeding - Reverse-stitching - can cause wounds that he has closed to reopen; can inflict wounds that were not previously existent on the target's body. |
● Illusions ⇢ Elric can make the target see, hear, smell, taste and feel things that are not there. He can create entire illusory worlds and warp his targets' perception of reality. • Dreams ⇢ can play on the target's psyche so their subconsciousness makes their deepest fears surface while at rest; specializes in night terrors and nightmarish lucid dreams; sometimes unknowingly gives people a look into their past (accidental precognition) • Hallucinations ⇢ can extend his illusory abilities to the target's wakefullness and twist reality to such an extent that they see or hear things in a different light. |
