    I don't know how to do this journal thing. The nice lady from the pet shop said it would help me remember, but I already forgot her name, so what does that say about my memory? I already know this will be useless. I forget things too quickly to be able to write them down at the end of the day.
    
    My new pet terrified me this morning. I think I bought it while stopping by at the pet shop and I can't remember what my decision making process involved, but... I have a giant spider in a terrarium now, on the coffee table in my living room. I have to make an effort not to forget about her. Maybe the diary will help.
    
    I think I'll name her Katerina.
