  • Personality: Until one gets to really know him, he's a sly and secretive motherfucker, always using his words and charms to talk his way either out of a problem or straight up into one. Other than that, he's typically very relaxed. He's an observer. He likes to watch others.

  • Dislikes: Undead, unintelligent vermin because they are immune to his abilities, not having a weapon, being teased.

  More on his personality:
  
  As an 'observer' and an explorer, he is reserved and cunning. All of this, however, is one big lie, as anyone who has actually gotten to know Taidel will tell you. He thinks himself suave, charismatic, and generally 'the bee's knees', but in fact is actually quite the dork. He might even get annoying at times, depending on who he's with. Nothing from Taidel says he loves you like constantly flirting, teasing, or getting on your nerves on some level. He does it on purpose just to get a rise out of his friends. In the past he's been kicked and punched into walls and trees for taking it too far. If it was his intent to get punted into next Tuesday, he'll usually follow it up with a thumbs up and a "Worth it!" It's become his catch phrase.
  
  As for appearance, he's got a slightly muscular build. You don't exercise much when all you do in battle is stare people to death and the main source of your income consists of putting on a dazzling, if not hilarious show for your audience. Or, maybe...you do...but that's besides the point. Consider him a walking cabaret, if you will. His hair is kept very short, buzzed on the sides and long atop the skull. It's either black, purple, or a mixture of the two. You'll soon discover that purple is his thing. It's in all of his 'auras', the dazzling rays and flickers of magical light he often uses when performing his 'tricks' (or if in battle, his attacks). Purple is also the color of his eyes, which seem to be infused with the stuff, as if one look could keep you transfixed indefinitely. It could, in fact.
  His outfits are almost entirely black, made of soft fabrics, and are form fitting. Arms are usually bare and he hardly ever takes off his leather riding boots. They're good for not only riding, but for 'prancing and dancing' in. If he wears jewelry, it's often silver or gold and sporting any purple gems if he can find them. (So you could imagine his collection of amethyst is building up.)

• Biography

  He used to wear it, but now he keeps a ring in his pocket. It's to remind him of the one he lost. He used to be married a long time ago to a bard centaur named Niro. But now he's gone. An adventurer should know to expect the death of a loved one, especially during war time. But Taidel was completely oblivious to the oncoming event and completely oblivious to his own mortality, therein. He got a big, whopping helping of reality when he lost Niro in a fight...and all that snark, all that 'charisma', all that fire he had built up in him...was extinguished.

  To forget.
  
  He wants to forget everything. He wants to forget his naive mindset of the past. He wants to forget the future they planned on, but never received. He wants to drown out his brain in a fit of either madness, pleasure, or both. And he'll do just about anything to do it. No matter where he has to go or who he has to charm. He will roam the world until either a new life is made, or he dies trying, no matter if it ends up 'good', or deranged. He's stalking his own death like a predator, always getting close, but never charging. He is the hesitant hunter.
