  Features: Immortal creature of a stone-like state. Humanoid in form, face changes into cruel expressions with goblin-like features and tipped fangs. Venom can be injected from bite, which can change others into a similar state. (roll for change.) Upon daylight, gargoyles must return to their lair and shed their skin. Failure to do so results in the gargoyle turning to stone. They return from stone into their gargoyle state after the sun sets. Residing in this form can result in the gargoyle becoming feral or being stuck in stone.
  The gargoyle must be in his own lair, or a safe place they could shed their skin. A short recovery period is required after for the gargoyle to transition back into their human form. The gargoyle is at its most vulnerable state when it turns to stone, as it can be shattered. The crumbled pieces must be completely destroyed via magic, otherwise the gargoyle can repair itself.
  Over time, one could notice the destroyed shards slowly moving toward each other, until the pieces reform. It could take decades. If the stone pieces are separated complete regeneration can not occur and the gargoyle's soul is stuck in a torturous limbo.
  Diet: Preys upon animals, other supernaturals, mortals. Carnivore.
  Appearance: Stone-like and heavy; broad wingspan allows for flight. Somewhat slow and cumbersome on the ground due to weight and height. In the air, they are deadly and capable of incredible speeds.
  Control: Younger gargoyles turn more often than elders. Though they can change each night at will, it seems the elders often get lazy and sit inactive at building tops.
  Gargoyles are in complete control during their turns, the curse does not impair their judgement and changes can be brought upon by will each night. Gargoyles have complete memory of the events of their shift after they have returned to their normal state. Resisting their true nature results in a feral shifts: wild, violent and unpredictable, changes occur unexpectedly and leaves them without memory of what occurred during their change.
  Offense: Strength of brute force, sharp claws and a bite seething with venom. The toxins of their bite has the potential to change their foe.
  Defense: Thick skinned but not totally impenetrable. Toxins in their saliva and blood is highly corrosive, burning and blistering skin, with the potential to poison their enemy by causing a blood sepsis. Can slowly regenerate health or repair limbs. Will always return to the state at which the gargoyle was originally changed.
