Wyatt Finlay is not your usual guy who does sports and loves partying all night long and drug his senses himself with alcoholic drinks. His parents and friends have always said that he is an easy guy to be around, because he is so down to earth and dosen't need much attention. In the end, Wyatt is good at entertaining himself. But what does that mean? Well, let's start at the beginning!!
This young Thai man grew up in what could be called a "traditional family." In the beginning he was just an only child which meant he had his parents' full attention. His Father was in the army but stopped after finding what he said himself was great love with his Mother. Then he decided to instead join the police forces. His Mother worked as a waitress as a young girl before earning her degree so she could become a real estate agent. Both of his parents earned a good ammount of money and were very successful. Their parents were proud of them. Wyatt's parents always treated him with love and care, even if his Father could sometimes be a bit strict, but it was alright. He could handle it. At the age of eight his parents gave him a little brother who they named James. As the older brother of the two Wyatt took great responsibility in helping out James whenever he needed. Wyatt enjoyed to play around with his friends but getting a little brother taught him a lot about responsibility for another human being. However, one night when he woke up and was hungry, he decided to go downstairs, and caught his parents talking in the living room. He heard them say that they had hoped getting another child would help their marriage. This was the first time that Wyatt earned the truth about what was going on behind closed doors. Even as their child he knew nothing about this before now; they had marriage trouble, using the birth of his little brother to try and solve it. He was caught in his hiding spot and his parents told him everything was fine. Wyatt however knew better. He wasn't stupid, but he let it pass. Still to this very day his parents are together but he's not sure if it's because they love each other or if it's because they feel forced to for some reason.
Wyatt moved out pretty early in life, right when he turned eighteen, and got himself a small condo. It was a big change compared to how large his family house was. Though he didn't mind it. Wyatt prefers his small condo but his parents do have an extra house that kind of works as a summer vacation house but in town. It's very open and pretty and he sometimes goes there for some extra peace. His friend Henry sometimes jokes around saying it's the best place to have a honeymoon whenever Wyatt will get married. Like that would ever happen.
Instead of being the socialite that his parents and little brother was, he became the exact opposite, which was someone who enjoyed his private space and wasn't fond of being really social with people. Sometimes he would even say that he didn't like people, not because that was the truth, but because being very social always managed to make him feel tired.
One might also expect since he comes from a family with backgrounds in the army, police and real estate profession, that he would like to work in the same environment, but nope, Wyatt chose something completely different; writing. Yes, Wyatt had always been someone who could whip out stories from his sleeve. Perhaps the reason why he enjoys being alone so much and dosen't like being bothered is because he lives his life through the experiences of what happens in his stories. He does have friends but most of the time he just spends at home. He has a terrible sleeping schedule and sometimes stay up until it's in the middle of the night. Also his eating habits aren't the best.
You might imagine the shock his parents had when they heard he wished to become a writer, his Father was the most sceptical of them but at last gave in. Now both of his parents and his little brother support his profession where he is slowly growing more and more in the industry. He is a good writer and is proving himself to be so. Not used to getting much attention it always surprises him whenever someone comes over with a book of his and ask him for his autograph. It is flattering, but also very new. Every time he puts on a kind smile and gives his fans what they want even though he dosen't agree with calling them "fans." He is very appreciative of those who read his work, it's because of them he has come so far.
Throughout the process Wyatt also took up art as a way for him to imagine how his characters looked as well as the scenery and he is not bad. In fact he enjoys art quite a lot and have done it for a long time now. Sometimes he just sits down and doodles because that is just what he needs during a rainy evening in.
When it comes to relationships Wyatt has completely pushed away the idea of being in one. He believes love only happens in the novels, and perhaps some of it has to do with his parents' secret about his little brother being exposed when he was younger. Some of his friends have made jokes saying he will forever and always be in a relationship with his books.
