• the Simple

  Age: Millennia, but Remael did not experience the flow of time as such. It seemed natural to him. Among mortals, he will say 32, 35, or 37, often forgetful about his supposed human age.
  Height: 6'11
  Species: Angel. His people aren't exactly Judeo-Christian angels, but similar beings with parallel values.
  Gender: Androgynous. In their true forms, angels are not gendered, but tend to choose a presentation when walking among mortals. Remael presents as an androgynous-seeming male for various reasons.
  Orientation: Omnisexual, but presents asexual due to past trauma.
  Relationship/Family status: Currently in a relationship with Aranel. He also has an adopted five-year-old son, Elo.
  
  Eyes: Long-lashy and silver with feathery eyebrows.
  Hair: A wall of faded gold to his thighs. It's somewhere between straight and wispy.
  Face: Narrow with deep cheekbones, a straight nose, and a high forehead.
  Body Tall, heavy bones, slender musculature. Wide shoulders and height skew him to the male side of androgyny.
  Unusual features: Height, scars (hidden), wings (hidden)
  Scars: From neck to ankles, he is mapped in everything from vicious mauling to whip and burn scars. He always covers these.
  Skin tone: Pale with golden undertones.
  
  Clothing: Always white, modest neck-to-ankle robe-dresses. These tend to be simple, yet elaborate. His current ensemble is rivers of white cloth, each one pinned and flowing from the next, with sleeves sewn in, and stockings. A pearl button-pin starts off this waterfall of silk at his neck. For bed, he wears a far simpler gown. He wears intricate sandals that lace up his calves.
  Accessories: One pair of half-moon spectacles with rose-tinted glass. He needs these, but not for his eyes.
  Carries: Changes of clothes, his son's necessities, and often his son.
  
  Practical Skills: Battle, but he can't stand it, fancy scripting, intellectual intelligence, very basic horticulture. He has the patience and gentleness that a good teacher ought to, and some useful knowledge to impart, but otherwise his nature and skills are anything but practical.
  Occupation: Remael seeks abandoned and persecuted nephilim, gathering them for a school and safe house he's currently planning. It doesn't pay, but Remael has a hidden fortune in precious stones, brought from his realm to the mortal one. This remains hidden until he needs it.
  Magic: A great deal, though he's reticent to use most of it. Remael is a telepath, empath, and memory-walker, meaning he can immerse himself in one's memories and view them. He also possesses deeply powerful holy magic, which he can gather in simple form (a blast in one's hand), a blade-shape to cut, or even weave into a song. In fact, he can't true-sing without inflicting damage on mortals, hence his false, off-key singing voice in mortal form. As all of his kin, he possesses illusion magic, the ability to appear as a mortal or a different form of life, a tree, for instance. He cannot project this ability to others, but he can link with and teach those with the ability to learn.
