Archery & hunting
Jorúnnr has been trained in archery since she was a child. She is considered to be a proficient hunter and tracker with a steady aim. She can hit targets while both they and herself are moving without problems. She knows how to handle and care for a bow, and it is in general her weapon of choice. She is good at skinning animals and knows how to tan leather, though she wouldn't call herself a leather worker.
Climbing
Jorúnnr is a proficient climber when it comes to scaling mountains or ice walls.
Horseback riding
As horses are not native to Niðheimr, her horseback riding skills are rather limited. She prefers other ways of transportation.
Ice skating & skiing
Jorúnnr knows how to ice skate and ski, as a big part of Niðheimr is covered in ice and snow, making it unfit to travel over longer distances on foot or by horseback.
Languages
Jorúnnr is fluent in Niðmál and is able to both write and read Niðríta. She speaks and reads the Common language, but struggles with writing it. Her spoken Common is very formal. Her understanding of Elvish is very limited, speaking only a little that is related to magic.
Magic
Jorúnnr possesses a basic understanding of the theory of magic. For her magic is always a last resort because of her lack of skills. She prefers pyromancy for obvious reasons.
Survival
As most other Niðliónar, Jorúnnr knows how to survive in the extreme cold winters and now to navigate Niðheimr. She has learned to read the weather and the night sky, knowing when to seek shelter.
Weapon handling
Jorúnnr knows how to handle both bow and arrow, axe, sword and shield. Next to the bow and arrow, the axe is the easiest weapon for her to handle, and preferred weapon in close quarter combat. She can also fist fight, though she prefers not to. -
