  Genetically recombined in a secretive operation on the basement floor of Lakefield Institution for the Mentally Disturbed, along with many other kidnapped teenagers. He was subjected to near endless poking, prodding, surgery, manipulation, testing, dehumanization, and most notably genetic manipulation resulting in the very apparent green splotch over the left side of his face (Thus the fear of hospitals and sharp objects). Brought up with two cell-mates, and eternally feels guilty for letting them die at the hands of the government. He also has an unexplainable obsession with steampunk.
