• Description

  Corwin is tall and lanky and covered in very thin muscle. He has sharp features such as high cheek bones, a hawkish nose and a cleft chin. His light brown hair is cropped short and rarely seems like it's kept. His left shoulder and chest are covered in a dark tribal tattoo marking which is actually an augmentation to his magic: makes his spells spellier and his enchantments chant better. His entire left leg has been shattered to pieces and is only held together by magic and buckles which line his limb.
  
  He usually wears breeches and weapons/pouch belts about his waste and rarely wears shirt inside the Tower.

• Biography

  Corwin was raised by his father, along with his only brother Darren. Being the Tower Master of the Nexus, his father trained his two boys in magic until they reached the age of 19. They were both being groomed to be the heir of the Nexal Tower and whoever was not chosen to rule the portals was charged with the task of finding skills artisans to put put through rifts in order to open gates to new worlds. Darren was alwasy slightly better at magic and thus assumed he would be given the title.
  
  He was surprised to find his little brother being awarded the title and in a rage joined in a contract with a trapped wraith and became Brimswrath. He murdered his lying father and rounded on his brother next as Corwin walked in on his father receiving the death blow. Spurred to action by his father's death, Corwin tried to fend off his once brother and in the process his leg was destroyed; shattered and broken beyond repair. When Brim came in to finish Corwin off, the Nexus Tower reacted violently to save it's new Master and scribed a tattoo of mana seeped from the portals onto Corwin's left upper body. With the added bonus, he was able to knock Darren out of a window of the Tower and used the last shreds of his willpower to bind and seal his leg in magic. It will forever be shattered, but as long as the magic is in place the crushed bone and muscle will never be reset. It is as if the leg is frozen in time at the moment of it's destruction. He places wards on it everyday in order to manage the pain he still feels from the broken limb.
  
  The Nexus Tower subdued it's master into a stasis for the next five years so his body and mind might recover from the horrible betrayal. When he was awakened, he found himself being roused by two people he would get to know as friends: Garret the Weaponmaster/Thief and Azaroth, half elemental, half human and looking for a way back to the Elemental Plane of Fire.
  
  Corwin would travel with these people for a time and encounter many others in his adventures. However, he resides in the Tower now overseeing it's daily functions.
