  • Age: Looks mid 20's, 65 million years old and still not older than time.
  • Body Type: Athletic, Lean, mostly thickened muscle around their lower half for running.
  • Height: 5"6
  • Weight: 145 pounds
  • Hair: Longer and more luxurous feathers, which take dye stronger, even though the same colour appears darker to the eye.
  • Eyes: Bottle green glassy eyes, black slitted pupils with yellow slits either side, high spectrum vission
  • Handedness: Ambidextrous, Proficiency in using two hands at once.
  • Scars (All hidden by feathers): Posterior: Lower back to the left, piercing scar. Anterior: A cross like incision scar just under the left breast below the heart.
  • Relationship: None, but don't expect them to commit.
  • Mannerisms: Still notably slightly feral species, usually cat or bird like sounds or other strange body language
  • Personality: Quirky, laid back, smarmy, impulsive
  • Dislikes: Insinuation of them being a demon
  • Likes: Warm things, Salmon, powering through pop culture
  • Sexuality: Pansexual
  • Roleplay style: Para. 4-7 +/- lines adverage

• General

  Orni was a time traveler, and a certainly interesting and quirky character for the job. Their interest wasn't alteration, or ruining peoples lives but they were a beacon for the interesting, the sentimental, the experience and acknowledgement. They drew their happiness from involving themself in other peoples lives at the risk of introducing them into a more supernatural lifestyle.
  
  They were no longer a member of their species genetically, slowly over time they mutated not in appearance but in adaption due to a binding by flesh to a spirit. While no usual body can handle the effects and distortion and radiation of time travel their body has become adapt against the symptoms of times poisoning, their form was inflammable and their blood ran hot. Touching their feathers was like they'd been sunbaking for hours.
  
  On the streets Orni was out to have fun, take a break from their work. Anyone out at day or night was victim to having Orni nab them into hanging out, encouraging others by offering tempting hangouts, free drinks? Smoke some bud? Save you from a slow and terrible night after work. Orni was more than happy to get close and comfortable, sharing moments of preening with friends, cuddles and even playful casual makeouts. One would never assume they had fortune and responsibility in their life, and that's how they liked being seen. Though they were ready to happily drop money on just about anyone to win their friendship.
  
  For income they rather happily wandered the high life, reaching for favours to get into high places, it'd not be unusual to see them dressed finely or not at all serving drinks at fancy parties for CEO's of darker or more secretive businesses. A performer or escort they were not afraid to put their show face on and happily interact with the guest. It involved drugs, alcohol, grumps, drunks, Rich brats who hadn't worked until they were 30 and yet they smiled and kept their tail high and their feathers unruffled, until someone took an interest and ruffled their feathers for them. <3
  

  ---

  Orni was generally careful with their diet, but not always their health. They favoured raw meats, and sushi was always on the menu. They didn't eat always, they didn't eat often but by no means was it unhealthy. Orni would avoid large meals, grazing throughout the day.
  
  They have habits of preening among them, Especially during dust bathing, This is because they are a flock creature and the physical contact is normalised to them, especially consent through body language when it comes to preening. If they don't want to be touched you might need quick reflexes because they can and will bite or snap with little warning if you didn't quite read them right.
  
  Personality:
  Orni tends to think they're rather charming and wonderfully bright, they tend to be more impulsive but when they act it's with control. A mixture of feral and anthropomorphic traits, body language and behaviour. Orni rarely will pass up an opportunity of exploration and fun with someone just as bubbly and excited as themself. Orni loves use of colloquialisms, often making jokes whether they take something seriously or not, part of their impulsive behaviour. Orni is rarely reserved unless asked personal questions, usually stalling or taking time to think when just a minute ago they were doing rather fine.
  
  They tend to enjoy meeting the social needs of others, glad to be quiet and do indoor activities with their introverted friends and gladly partake in their extroverted friends party life. Orni themself tends to get restless when not in to company of others.
  
  When they feel wronged, they act, usually making their boundaries clear without delay, this often demonstrated with body language, often cases were Orni may strike out physically. This is not an act of hostility, this is Orni telling you no.

• Physical appearance

  Please note: Orni is not in stylish outfits depicted in art unless in a 'modern' or 'future' setting, I'll inform you if their outfit is different in anyway. The garbs are purely traditional to Orni and usually their safest outfit, rather than cause a ruffle about caught out being out of place in time.
  
  While you're unlikely to see it's still important to detail so you do have an idea of their more physical appearance even while garbed up and covered. Without the idea of their frame you have nothing really fair to work out, as it'd be yourself filling in the blanks and taking awkward guesses:
  
  Orni is slightly leaned forward due to their more primal appearance which to balance their slight forward leaning postured body their tail at the base is 28cm (*11 inches) in circumference, totalling tail length of 76cm (2.5 feet)and the tip covered by their longest feathers on the end of their tail, going with the grain and pointing out with the tip, somewhat of a slight fan out.
  
  Where there wasn't feathers there was a spiny like fur, softer more bendable and flexible feathers that appears like fur but a little bit more bristly. This type of strangely developed feathers covered most of their body, from face to toes all except their head, tail tip, chest and arms were stronger feathers grew in streaks.
  While the stronger feathers appeared darker they would take to Ornis dye more prominently, appearing usually darker. In neutral cold white light the feathers are more likely to represent their softer feathers in colour.
  
  (Revealed information: Feathers appear spiny due to the dye folding down the vein of their feathers.)
  
  Their forearms noticeably thicker and their fingers clearly ended in more a claw like structure but remained just as functionable as a hand if not a little longer in the fingers to represent their more creature like features. Those claws could easily probe flesh, just as magnificently as their teeth. Their teeth though almost as short as someone with a normal set of chompers if not a quarter inch longer were those shark like teeth, without the serration of most birds or shark, they were designed mostly for a quick bite or tear, used mostly as display. Though of course it makes their smile slightly jarring to strangers.
  
  While they're thin, as is their species in their stage of life, they're still obviously toned and not simply mistaken for 'thin and weak'. While Orni isn't harmful or aggressive in nature their body still does show that it's ready and able to do damage with little warning.

  2. I'm not fantastic with spelling, and at that my brain will replace some words completely with others and it goes unnoticed by me. If you notice something fishy? Let me know and I'll try re-confirm.
  Language doesn't exactly process in order for me either, so it makes understanding basic grammar structures difficult and without a line reader on Furcadia I am at a loss for accessibility and at a disadvantage and really require your tolerance. If you fail to meet that minimum standard then you fail criteria as a suitable and friendly roleplayer.

  3. Orni is Epicene.
  a) You might not be able to understand Orni and their difference to gender but that by no means does it mean that you call Orni "Him" or "Her". Calling Orni by their pronouns which are they/them/their/theirs/they're is required.
  You might confuse Orni's pronouns with the singular they rules. Which is common confusion. Hope I cleared things up.
  
  b) This character doesn't share your views or your characters; In character some are welcome to be confused but prejudice and rudeness remains at the door. If addressing Orni as they/them/ect is difficult, address Orni by name instead directly.
